Airtel IQ, a cloud communication platform to set up free Covid helpline for businesses

While the pandemic is taking a toll on the citizens, it has become inevitable for businesses to ensure a host of aids for their employees and customers amidst such unprecedented tough times. With the employees still providing the best of their efforts for the businesses to sustain, it is the responsibility of the employers to keep a check on their wellbeing and provide them with utmost convenience while they work in such hard times.

Keeping this idea in mind, Bharti Airtel has rolled out Airtel IQ, a cloud platform through which businesses can set up a free Covid helpline for their employees in a hassle-free and quick manner irrespective of the size of the business. To avail of this incredible feature, the users simply need to reach out to Airtel’s official website. The telecom major is providing 5000 minutes of worth connectivity between the employees and the organization with each helpline account.

“Business of all sizes can set up a Free Covid Helpline for their employees within two minutes with Airtel IQ – a cloud communication platform. Airtel is giving 5,000 minutes with each Helpline account so that businesses can stay connected with their employees and organise their efforts,” Airtel said.

Not just this, the telecom giant is also offering an array of emergency services on its Airtel Thanks app that helps to track verified supplies of medicines, oxygen cylinders, vaccination slots etc. These services can be found integrated into the section of Explore in the app. “With the Cowin platform APIs integrated with Airtel Thanks app, information on nearest vaccination centres and available slots is updated on real time basis,” the company said.

In the app, the company has added a section called ‘Covid SOS’ which can provide references to verified contacts of necessary supplies like medicines, oxygen, plasma donors, ambulance, hospital beds (regular, O2, ICU), and testing centres. With hundreds of contacts available on the web, it becomes chaotic and painstaking to verify manually and identify the correct ones. Airtel, however, solves this problem and presents to us the verified sources beforehand. To avail of these benefits, users require to download the latest version of the Airtel thanks app, available both on android and iOS platforms.
