DPIIT launches Dashboard to attend and track complaints related to Logistics Sector

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade’s (DPIIT) logistics division has established an interactive dashboard to track complaints and gather suggestions for the industry to address problems.

Trade organisations and industry associations were required to write letters to the federal government earlier highlighting the problems and offering suggestions for the growth of the logistics sector.

The dashboard’s introduction has eliminated all paperwork because the aforementioned associations and trade organisations must now log in to the dashboard to report problems or offer suggestions to the Center. The dashboard gives complainants visibility, which enables them to follow up on their complaints.

It’s interesting to note that the recently released dashboard is just one of many projects run by the DPIIT’s logistics section to address tech, service, and human resource-related concerns in the logistics industry.

DPIIT will take on challenges from many departments as well as those specific to one ministry or department through this programme.

The dashboard is shortly to be available to all authorised associations in the logistics sector, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which administers the DPIIT.
