EatClub’s revenue from operations surpasses INR 200 Cr mark; Expenditure increases by 103.9%


EatClub is a technology-first, full-stack cloud kitchen company, and it has one of Asia’s largest cloud kitchen networks. The company has more than 250+ kitchens present in major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, NCR & Hyderabad. 

Many popular brands like MOJO Pizza, BOX8, Itminaan Biryani, Globo Ice Creams, NH1 Bowls, ZAZA 22 Spice Biryani, LeanCrust Pizza, and Mealful Rolls operate out of EatClub’s kitchens.

As per the audited financial statements of the company, the revenue from operations for FY22 was around INR 210 crores.

The revenue for EatClub from the 9 private brands was INR 207 crores, which’s 98.6% of the total revenue. The company also earns income from the subscription fee of EatClub Pro. The income from the subscriptions was INR 3 crores.

As per the expenses sheet, the company spent INR 83 crores on the procurement of materials.

The company spent INR 50 crores on its employee benefits, they also increased their marketing spend by bringing Raj Kumar Rao and Sara Ali Khan together as their brand ambassadors.

The company has spent INR 28 crores on marketing and promotion activities. They have incurred another cost of INR 28 crores on contract labour. The total expenditure for the year was INR 259 crores.

With this, the company has ended its business operations with an overall loss of INR 45 crores.

Also, it has been observed that the company has spent INR 1.23 to generate revenue of INR 1.
