Maruti Suzuki India has shortlisted three new startups as a part of its Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab(MAIL) programme. To promote innovation in the mobility space, Maruti Suzuki shortlisted Nable IT, Redbot and Sleave as a part of this MAIL initiative.
“The startups are poised to disrupt the consumer technology world. The company’s MAIL initiative supports them by co-creating innovative business solutions,” MSI MD and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa said in a statement. They will now engage with MSI in paid projects, he further added.
MSI launched MAIL in partnership with GHV Accelerator in January 2019. The company believes that this program is more than just a startup accelerator as it aims to create a sustainable environment to nurture, foster and guide early-stage startups in the Mobility space.
With this latest addition of 3 startups, Maruti Suzuki has now engaged with 17 startups under this program in the last two years. Of course, this is a great opportunity for all these startups to learn from one of the top companies in the automobile industry and get the support and guidance it needs.
Yes, there has to be something about your company that makes people believe that your company will come through and is worth investing in and spending time on. MSI has selected the startups which show promise, and under their guidance will blossom the way they are supposed to.
