Repsol reports that it has surpassed 10 million users on Waylet, its payment and loyalty application. With this milestone, the company is ahead of the objective set in the update of its 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, which established reaching this figure in 2027.

Waylet thus establishes itself as a key tool within Repsol’s digital strategy and contributes to consolidating the company’s digital relationship with its clients. Along these lines, Repsol will continue to develop new functionalities and services aimed at facilitating the daily lives of users and expanding the possibilities of interaction through the application.

The free Repsol app allows, among other advantages, to serve as a virtual wallet to pay easier and faster when refueling. In addition, there are different establishments that are part of the Waylet network where it is possible to pay with this app and save money.

Key loyalty tool

Since its creation in 2017, Waylet has traveled a path marked by significant advances. A year later, in 2018, Repsol integrated the application into the startup Klikin, expanding its reach beyond payment at service stations and incorporating restaurant, health, beauty and leisure establishments. In 2019, the alliance with El Corte Inglés allowed Waylet to be used as a new payment method in its centers. In 2020, functionalities such as the online store for service stations were added, while in 2021 the application expanded its reach with electric mobility solutions, regulated parking and professional payment using Solred company cards.

In 2022, Waylet reinforced its growth through new strategic alliances and became the most downloaded application in Spain for three consecutive weeks. In 2023, the Energy to Save Plans and the Repsol Klin digital washing were launched, along with additional capabilities such as the electric route planner, renewable fuels and online payment. Already in 2024, the application incorporated interoperated electric mobility points, the Klin car wash subscription, new alliances for online payments and Waylet Luz, a 100% digital rate. This evolution propelled the application to exceed 8.5 million customers, reach 9 million in April 2025 and reach 10 million users in February 2026.

Elena Cano, CEO of Waylet, stated: “Reaching 10 million users is a milestone that reflects the trust of our customers and the strength of the digital model that we have built. We will continue working to expand the value we offer and consolidate Waylet as a key platform in mobility, energy and day-to-day services.”

Waylet has become one of the main applications in the Spanish digital payments market, differentiating itself from traditional payment methods through a diversified mix of functionalities that allows users to manage multiple services from a single environment. Its cashback program contributes to this positioning.

Integrated application services

This usage model is reflected in the habits of Waylet users, since 30% use the application regularly for services not linked to fuel or recharging, such as parking or shopping, which highlights the added value of the diversity of services integrated into the application.

Currently, Waylet allows you to pay quickly and safely at all Repsol group stations and offers additional functionalities such as refueling without going to the cashier, managing electric vehicle recharging at its own facilities and interoperated points, acquiring Repsol Klin washing and vacuuming services, paying for regulated parking tickets in 32 locations and more than 46 private car parks, as well as purchasing from a wide network of physical and online stores.
