nLighten, a European digital infrastructure platform, has announced the launch of ReadyCabinet, a solution designed to simplify and accelerate access to edge infrastructure. The proposal allows companies and partners to have operational capacity in less than three business days, drastically reducing the usual deadlines associated with the deployment of new edge infrastructure.
The launch responds to a reality that is increasingly visible in the European market. The expansion of artificial intelligence, low-latency applications, and distributed services is driving the need to deploy edge infrastructure in multiple locations and do so quickly. However, many organizations continue to face processes that require weeks or even months of planning, design, and validation before launching new edge infrastructure environments.
ReadyCabinet seeks to eliminate much of that complexity through a pre-configured offering that combines infrastructure, power and connectivity into a single, ready-to-deploy edge infrastructure service. The solution includes full or partial cabinets, up to 5 kW of power and integrated connectivity through nConnect, nLighten’s interconnection platform for edge infrastructure environments.
From infrastructure projects to immediate deployments
Traditionally, contracting capacity in data centers has been linked to customized projects that involve multiple technical and operational phases. ReadyCabinet takes a different approach: delivering a standardized edge infrastructure that allows organizations to launch new deployments in a matter of days.
“Demand for edge infrastructure is accelerating and many organizations can no longer wait months to deploy new capacity. With ReadyCabinet we simplify that process and enable our customers to access our European edge platform in a matter of days,” explains Joachim van Collenburg, VP Enabling Services at nLighten.
The process is divided into three steps. The customer requests a quote with real-time availability information and reserves capacity for five days. Subsequently, you formalize the contract through a standardized service order and, once the process is completed, you receive the edge infrastructure cabinet ready to operate in less than three business days.
A gateway to nLighten’s edge platform
More than a point solution, ReadyCabinet is conceived as the gateway to nLighten’s pan-European platform based on edge infrastructure.
Customers can start with an initial infrastructure deployment and subsequently expand capacity, power or cooling requirements within the same operating environment, including high-density configurations and liquid-cooling-ready environments in their edge infrastructure.
This approach allows us to support the growth of increasingly demanding workloads associated with artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, high-performance computing and distributed digital services that require edge infrastructure.

ReadyCabinet is now available in select nLighten data centers and will continue to expand its edge infrastructure coverage throughout 2026.
