DXC Technology has launched the DXC Private Cloud+ solution, which offers the flexibility and cost model of the public cloud, while maintaining full control over sensitive data and workloads.

Powered by Dell Technologies infrastructure and managed by DXC OASIS, the Private Cloud+ intelligent orchestration platform helps organizations innovate more easily while meeting strict data security, compliance and sovereignty requirements, at a time when enterprise cloud strategies are rapidly evolving.

Greater adoption of multicloud strategies

As governance, security, data sovereignty and industry-specific requirements become as important as scalability, organizations around the world are moving away from single-cloud approaches to multi-cloud strategies that offer greater choice and control. In this context, Private Cloud+ incorporates a differential proposal by combining the economic advantages and agility of hyperscale environments with the control of the private cloud, also providing a unified platform to connect data centers, integrate with public clouds and prepare the infrastructure for AI workloads.

“Customers in industries such as manufacturing, transportation, insurance and many others are looking for hyperscale profitability, flexibility and AI-readiness in a true hybrid environment that works with both the infrastructure they already use and the public clouds on which they depend. Until now, they had been forced to give up some of these benefits. “Private Cloud+, powered by Dell and managed by DXC OASIS, eliminates that commitment and allows them to be prepared as AI workloads grow,” said Chris Drumgoole, president of Global Infrastructure Services at DXC.

The full range of enterprise workloads

Hosted in DXC data centers and orchestrated through DXC OASIS with a Human+ approach, Private Cloud+ supports the full range of enterprise workloads, including virtual machines, containers, data, backup and resiliency, as well as private AI. The result is a unified environment that enables customers to reduce technical debt, strengthen security, and accelerate the journey from idea to production, supported by a consumption model that simplifies financial planning.

Private Cloud+ is available in three modalities, allowing organizations to choose the deployment scheme that best suits their workload, isolation and compliance needs:

  • Core: A multi-tenant private cloud with all the features of Private Cloud+ and a consumption-based pricing model.
  • Dedicated: A single-tenant environment for organizations that require complete isolation of compute, storage, and data sovereignty resources.
  • Government: an edition reinforced with advanced security controls, managed by national personnel with the corresponding security accreditations, intended for public administrations and highly regulated sectors.

“Organizations have to deal with sensitive workloads, modernization and artificial intelligence. Many are looking for an infrastructure that manages it natively, without additional solutions. That is exactly what we have created with Private Cloud+, where DXC OASIS eliminates the operational burden so that clients can focus on innovation” declares Carlos González, Head of Infrastructure Business Development, at DXC Spain.

DXC and Dell have collaborated for more than 25 years and jointly serve more than 2,000 customers worldwide. DXC is a Titanium Black partner within the Dell Technologies Partner Program. Private Cloud+ is part of DXC Fast Track solutions, focused on AI and automation-driven capabilities that support exponential growth.
