The company CrowdStrike has announced the creation of its Cyber Superintelligence Lab, the first cutting-edge artificial intelligence research organization designed specifically for cyber defense and AI security.
The Lab brings together the expertise of CrowdStrike’s AI researchers, offensive operators, and incident response team into a single, mission-focused project.
Based on the data, adversary intelligence and high-fidelity environments that underpin the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, the Lab paves the way for the next generation of defense technology designed for the agent era. Dr. Bartley Richardson, director of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, will also be the director of the Laboratory.
Falcon Next-Gen Next-Gen SIEM
The Lab’s primary source of information is CrowdStrike’s unrivaled corpus of security data. Each signal is mapped and tagged by top-level analysts, with verdicts attached, establishing the ontology of cybersecurity. The Falcon sensor collects information from endpoints, identity systems, cloud workloads, data warehouses, and the state-of-the-art Falcon Next-Gen SIEM into a single architecture, generating billions of events every day.
That footprint spans environments diverse enough to capture the edge cases that really matter, which is precisely where adversaries operate. These signals encapsulate 15 years of CrowdStrike threat intelligence and incident response: expert-verified descriptions of what an attack was, how it worked, and what stopped it. Volume alone does not teach the defense to act correctly. What it does is a confirmed result, and CrowdStrike generates more of them every day the platform is up and running.
