SAP held its SAP Agent Ready event in Madrid, an initiative developed in Spain together with Inetum, SEIDOR and Indra to bring agentic AI closer to specific business use cases and accelerate its adoption. Spain is the first country to launch this initiative, which will later be replicated in other markets in the EMEA area.

For three days, the partners have presented their clients with AI agents developed in Spain to respond to real business needs and show how this technology can go from experimentation to its application in business processes.

SAP Agent Ready is part of SAP’s vision of the Autonomous Enterprise, in which people and AI agents work together and artificial intelligence can intervene in entire processes, supported by the business context, trusted data and security and governance frameworks. To promote this ecosystem, SAP announced this year an investment of 100 million euros aimed at supporting its partners in the development and deployment of AI assistants and agents.

“SAP’s commitment to co-innovation with its ecosystem becomes more important than ever with the vision of the Autonomous Company. The sectoral and business knowledge of our partners is essential to be able to develop agents that respond to the real needs of companies and generate value in their processes. We are especially proud that this initiative has germinated in Spain,” says Paula Vidal, SAP Channel Director for Southern Europe.

Each of the sessions carried out was completed with a panel of experts with the participation of Jorge Pérez, director of Technology Platform and Data and Artificial Intelligence for Southern Europe at SAP, and Paula Vidal, director of SAP Channel for Southern Europe.

Inetum Retail Solutions

Inetum has presented three solutions in Retail and Mass Consumption (CPG):

  • Retail promotion optimization agent: It analyzes historical results, the real behavior of customers and market variables – including competitor promotions – to generate automatic recommendations that improve profitability, shelf supply and the speed of commercial decisions.
  • Risk anticipation agent in CPG: early detects any global or local event that could put the supply of materials or production capacity at risk. In the event of a detected incident, it evaluates the financial and operational impact, identifies the affected products and immediately proposes viable alternatives to minimize risks and fulfill the commitments made to customers.
  • Contract Pulse: Negotiating with suppliers: Evaluates historical agreements, current commercial conditions and incoming proposals from suppliers to accurately calculate their economic impact and identify the best negotiation scenarios. Monitors long-term contractual compliance and stores the strategic knowledge generated, guaranteeing absolute traceability, total transparency and control over purchasing decisions.

Agents focused on financial management

For its part, SEIDOR has presented three agents focused on financial management, production and purchasing:

  • Financial management agent: applies AI to the business context to identify opportunities for improvement and promote more agile and efficient management of working capital.
  • Production agent: supports more anticipatory management of productive activity, helping teams to identify risks and improve the ability to respond to situations that may affect the operation.
  • Purchasing management agent: applies AI to commercial and procurement processes to manage opportunities with greater agility, consistency and business orientation.

Agents to govern SAP Business A

Another series of solutions were presented by Indra, which announced three agents, two of them already in use in a client project:

  • MABI (Model for Adoption of Business AI): family of agents designed to govern the adoption of SAP Business AI. In its first application for SAP BW and SAP BPC, it analyzes the usage, dependencies, technical complexity and business value of existing assets to recommend the optimal evolution strategy: migration to SAP Business Data Cloud, enhancement with SAP Business AI, redesign or retirement, and generates a prioritized roadmap. Reduce diagnostic time by up to 50% and automate more than 35% of certain migration activities.
  • Tax management optimization agent: integrator in SIGEFI, Indra Group’s tax management solution, allows you to consult and analyze tax information, detect incidents, perform predictive analysis of tax payments and execute certain actions in S/4HANA. Reduce the time spent searching for tax information by up to 60%, the time spent reviewing declarations and alerts by 80%, and the time spent consulting guides and internal support by 100%.
  • Autonomous Administration Department for ENCE: three AI agents that automate invoice management, supplier registration or claims, while people supervise and make decisions. It has managed to reduce administrative costs by 45% between 2018 and 2026, achieve 85% automatic recognition and 98% accuracy in data extraction.

With SAP Agent Ready, SAP, Inetum, SEIDOR and Indra demonstrate from Spain how the collaboration between technology, business knowledge and sector experience can convert agentic AI into solutions applicable to the real operations of companies.
