Accenture inaugurates its Agentic AI Innovation Hub in Barcelona, a new space in which company professionals work with companies, public administrations and representatives of the local academic and entrepreneurial sector to co-innovate, develop and scale solutions enabled by agentic AI and Accenture’s business reinvention technological assets.
The Hub, launched last June, has arrived to accelerate the transformation of organizations and expand the real impact that agentic AI is already generating in the economy, public services and society. The company aims to accelerate business reinvention through agentic artificial intelligence.
The event was closed by Albert Tort, Secretary of Telecommunications and Digital Transformation of the Generalitat of Catalonia. In addition, it was attended by Nadia Quevedo, Commissioner for Employment and Commerce of the Barcelona City Council, several CEOs and senior managers of large companies in Catalonia, CEOs of technology companies, as well as academic institutions and associations of the regional ecosystem.
From experimentation to large-scale adoption
Accenture’s Agentic AI Innovation Hub, which is part of the company’s Barcelona Innovation Center in its La Rotonda offices, reflects the commitment to agentic AI as organizations move from the experimentation phase to large-scale adoption. According to Accenture’s report, “The Age of Co-intelligence,” it is estimated that more than 50% of work hours will be impacted by AI agents, highlighting the need for organizations to reimagine the ways of working and creating value.

In this new space, local and international organizations work to co-innovate, explore and design how to integrate agentic AI into the core of their operations with a holistic vision, from the redefinition of processes, to the development and secure deployment of agentic platforms, the design of the responsible AI governance model and training plans and adoption of new ways of working in the organization. Accenture’s Agentic AI Innovation Hub seeks to provide clients with a complete vision for a successful deployment of new agentic AI technology.
And all this by working collaboratively on concrete solutions together with technology partners, startups and academic institutions, clients from all sectors have access to applied innovation, emerging operating models and reference architectures by industry, as well as personalized workshops and practical sessions to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI, while equipping their teams with the necessary capabilities to succeed in this transformation.
