The companies EY and Multiverse Computing have announced a strategic alliance to accelerate the development of agentic AI architectures that combine power and resource optimization. EY is specialized in offering professional services, while Multiverse Computing is specialized in efficient AI technologies and quantum computing.
The agreement combines EY’s extensive experience in creating enterprise-scale agentic AI ecosystems, with Multiverse Computing’s innovative artificial intelligence model compression technology, capable of reducing the computational footprint of large language models (LLM) without compromising their performance. Together, both organizations seek to enable a new generation of agentic, autonomous, scalable and sustainable AI systems to transform the experience of the business fabric.
“EY’s extensive global infrastructure provides us with a direct channel to bring our compression technology to the end customer,” said Rodrigo Hernández, global director of generative AI at Multiverse Computing. “Together, we will help organizations deploy agentic AI systems that are not only more capable, but also significantly more efficient, affordable and sustainable. This partnership unlocks a new level of value for customers seeking scalable and realistic AI adoption.”
EY will be able to design and deploy AI agents based on agentic AI that consume up to 90% less computational energy
“Today, the priority for companies is not only to have smarter AI, but also to have agentic AI that can be deployed responsibly, integrated into operations and deliver measurable results,” says José María Lucía, partner responsible for the EY Artificial Intelligence Center. “By combining Multiverse Computing’s compression technology with EY’s global transformation experience, we help clients deploy agentic AI more quickly and efficiently, gaining agility and financial value while reducing infrastructure costs. This collaboration is key because it unites two teams focused on making advanced AI truly applicable in real environments, driving productivity, competitiveness and sustainability.”
Greater computing power
Agentic AI architectures—artificial intelligence systems that can autonomously plan, learn, and collaborate—require significant computational power. By leveraging the Multiverse Computing platform, EY will be able to design and deploy AI agents based on agentic AI that consume up to 90% less computational energy, enabling use cases that were previously limited by hardware or cost.
Both organizations view this collaboration as a key step toward democratizing access to advanced agentic AI systems, allowing businesses of all sizes to benefit from the power of these architectures without compromising cost, speed or sustainability.
