At the beginning of September, the presentation of “Alerta La Serie” was held in Las Rozas (Madrid), a fiction that explores the risks associated with digital life and how to face them. It is the first Spanish production that puts cybersecurity at the center of its plot and has the support of important organizations linked to computer security and digital culture, including ISACA, an international entity with decades of experience in digital trust.

The series consists of six independent episodes that address current issues in the digital environment, such as cyberattacks, cyberbullying, the creation of false profiles on social networks and mobile addiction. Throughout the plot, the technological dangers that affect users are examined, such as the exposure of personal data, social isolation and disconnection from reality, consequences derived from misuse of technology. The different stories invite the viewer to empathize with the characters and reflect on the need to be alert in the digital world.

Cybersecurity “Alert”

During the presentation, Marlon Molina, cybersecurity expert, the mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz, and some of the actors in the series stressed the importance of digital trust and the need to educate young people about cybersecurity from school. secondary. The work of the State Security Forces in raising awareness about risks and good practices in the digital field was also highlighted.

In the current era, much progress has been made in raising awareness among professionals and organizations about the relevance of cybersecurity, but citizens must also be aware of the dangers posed by devices connected to the Internet. ISACA, through its certifications and various initiatives, positions itself as a benchmark in a sector that is constantly evolving.

An example of this is the “State of Digital Decade” study, which points out the lack of qualified personnel with the necessary skills to face these challenges. Furthermore, many people lack basic digital skills, which reinforces the importance of this project to educate the population, especially young people, about technological safety.
