Madrid has been the scenario chosen by AOC and MMD, a licensee of the Philips brand, to celebrate its traditional Summit partners, an annual meeting that brings together distributors, technological partners and specialized media. During the day, companies have shared their strategic vision for the Spanish market, while presenting a complete range of news for professional segments, consumption and gaming.
The meeting has also served to take stock of a 2024 marked by the growth of the monitors market, in which AOC and Philips have strengthened their position as leaders. As explained by Antonio Valiente, Country Manager of MMD & Aoc Iberia, “During the past year, the market in Spain grew by 12%, and we, like Philips & Aoc, grew above that rate, which allowed us to close 2024, once again, as leaders in the monitors market, with some more than 18% market share, considering both brands”.
Valiente also stressed that consumer preferences are changing, leaning towards more advanced products: “Within the general growth of the monitors market, the segments that have grown above the average have been: USB-C monitors, large format, high resolution and OLED. This shows that both professional and individual users demand more and more higher functionalities, better image quality, larger size and optimized connectivity”.
Innovation focused on user needs
The company stressed its continuous commitment to the development of solutions that respond to the demands of productivity, ergonomics and visual quality. Among the main novelties for the professional environment, highlights the Philips 49B2U6903CH monitor, a proposal designed for multitasking work in hybrid offices: 48.9 ″ Superwide curve screen, resolution 5120 × 1440, Thunderbolt 4 technology, integrated webcam and advanced collaboration functionalities.
Both brands, TPV subsidiaries, present in Madrid their novelties and strategies for a growing market
AOC, on the other hand, presented the U27U3CV, a 4K UHD monitor with Nano IPS panel and 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 space, oriented to creatives and design professionals who seek chromatic precision without giving up aesthetics or modern connectivity with its integrated USB-C coupling station.
Avant -garde technology for the most demanding gamers
The Gaming segment did not stay behind in the event, with proposals designed for those who seek maximum performance. The new Agon Pro Ag276uzd, with OLED technology, QHD resolution and G-Sync compatibility, reaches a 240Hz update frequency and a response time of only 0.03ms GTG. Designed for Esports and Competitive Gaming, this monitor promises an extremely fluid and crisp visual experience.
The Philips Evnia 34M2C5501A, a 34 -inch WQHD curved model, with DisplayHDR 400, 180Hz refreshment rate and 0.5ms response time, was also presented. Its Smart MBR technology eliminates movement blur, offering impeccable image quality even in the most frantic moments of the game.
With an increasingly diverse range and a strategy focused on quality and innovation, AOC and Philips reinforce their commitment to the end user, consolidating as referents in a market that does not stop evolving.
