CGI has been selected as a technology partner by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to help reduce costs and increase the success of projects and programs by modernizing its IT systems. CGI’s selection allows the company to qualify for bids under the FBI’s Information Technology Supplies and Support Services, Generation 2 (ITSSS-2) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), which has a maximum value of $8 billion. This new BPA was awarded under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Multiple Award Program (MAS).
According to Clay Goldwein, CGI’s senior vice president of Homeland Security and Justice, “As a trusted partner of the FBI and the Department of Justice, we help these organizations accelerate their digital transformations to deliver business and mission outcomes.”
The FBI’s goal is to reduce costs and increase the success of projects and programs through the modernization of its IT systems.
Under the BPA, CGI will leverage its global ecosystem of services and solutions, and its extensive network of alliances, to deliver business consulting, systems integration and managed IT services that add value and are aligned with the Office’s current and future objectives.
“Following a decade of successful work with the FBI, this new agreement will enable CGI to bring the right talent, tools and emerging technologies the Bureau needs to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving mission and technology landscape,” said Robert Moskowitz, vice president of Consulting Services at CGI. “Additionally, CGI’s presence in FBI locations like the National Capital Region and Huntsville, Alabama, allows us to support the FBI’s Strategic Realignment and other initiatives while leveraging top local talent within the communities where we live and work.”
