Commvault has announced new capabilities in its technology Cleanroom Recovery that promise to radically transform the recovery processes after a cyber attack. The inclusion of functions such as Factory Reset and Cloud Threat Scanmarks a milestone in the automation, safety and efficacy of business cyber recreational plans.

According to recent data, organizations take a half 24 days to completely restore their operations after a cybercorpier, not only for the restoration of the data, but also by the complex process of reconstruction of the affected infrastructure. With its new proposal, Commvault seeks to drastically shorten these deadlines and minimize the operational impact.

Functionality Factory Resetalready available to the company’s customers, allows companies to rebuild their systems after an attack from a previously validated and threat -free image. This approach avoids reusing compromised infrastructure and accelerates the implementation process, also allowing customizing the recovery point.

“Commvault Cleanroom Recovery is not limited to having an isolated environment, but offers tangible results that have an impact on the company,” says Nate Hauenstein, director of Operations and Global Infrastructure of IT in Chart Industries, Inc. “Before, the recovery could take more than seven hours. Today, the services are ready instantly, which protects our income and minimizes the operational impact.”

Data security: Cleanroom Recovery

Beyond the infrastructure, Commvault has integrated its capabilities of Cloud Threat Scan In Cleanroom Recovery. This function allows analyzing the data restored within the clean environment, adding an additional layer of verification to ensure that they do not persist latent threats. In this way, the risk of reinfection is reduced and confidence in restored systems is reinforced.

Greg Jehs, vice president of services managed in Meridian It, underlines the impact: “Integration with Cloud Threat Scan is a differentiating factor in the market. Automates recovery and ensures that the systems re -operate in a perfect state.”

A solution also for managed service providers

Cleanroom Recovery improvements are also available for Managed Service Providers (MSP), which can offer this advanced technology to their own customers. The possibility of having automated, safe and customizable recovery environments represents a new standard in managed recovery services after cyber attacks.

“With these new capabilities, Commvault offers a controlled environment with greater accessibility, personalization and real -time detection options that significantly improves the quality of the service we give to our customers,” says James Watts, general director of Databarracks.

Proactive resilience and intelligent validation

These innovations are added to previously announced functions, such as the validation of clean points of recovery through AI (Cleanpoint ™ Validation) and the ability to perform frequent and automated tests of recovery plans. All this makes Cleanroom Recovery a solution designed not only to respond to an attack, but to proactively prepare organizations against future threats.

Pranay Ahlawat, director of Technology and Ia of Commvault, summarizes it: “We do not stop in data recovery. Our bet is for automation, infrastructure recovery and orchestration. We are helping our clients to stay at the forefront with aggressive innovation and operational resilience on scale.”

With this technological commitment, Commvault reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive approach to cybercraft, in a context in which the preparation and speed of response have become critical factors for the continuity of the business.
