CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits have announced a long-term strategic partnership to bring the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform to STACKIT, Schwarz Digits’ sovereign cloud infrastructure. This collaboration will provide AI Falcon’s native cybersecurity platform, with full attack path visibility in a fully operated environment within the EU on STACKIT, enabling businesses and public institutions to meet Europe’s data sovereignty requirements while defending against advanced cyber threats.
As regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act come into full force and NIS2 increases financial accounting accountability requirements, organizations operating critical infrastructure need to have a cybersecurity policy in place that works at the highest level. In this context, having a cybersecurity platform capable of operating within European sovereign infrastructures becomes essential, especially for highly regulated entities looking for local solutions without the need to share data outside the EU jurisdiction. In this sense, by operating natively within STACKIT’s European sovereign infrastructure, the Falcon cybersecurity platform will meet those requirements.
“Every organization in Europe is asking the same question: how do we adopt AI at scale without compromising data sovereignty or security?” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “Making the Falcon cybersecurity platform available on STACKIT will enable customers to deploy native AI protection across EU-owned and operated infrastructure, while maintaining the performance, visibility and effectiveness they expect from CrowdStrike.”
AI-powered security platforms
By integrating the Falcon cybersecurity platform into STACKIT’s sovereign, GDPR-compliant cloud, Schwarz Digits will expand access to globally recognized security technologies for highly regulated industries and critical infrastructure operators. Operating an AI-powered cybersecurity platform within European data centers supports data residency and operational autonomy, aligned with regional regulatory expectations.
The CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform will be available through STACKIT’s cloud marketplace, providing customers, including those in highly regulated industries, access to CrowdStrike’s native AI capabilities in endpoint, cloud, identity and exposure management, powered by real-time threat intelligence and unified visibility. Telemetry and sensing processing for deployments in STACKIT will operate within European data centers, supporting compliance with the GDPR, the European Cyber Resilience Law, and applicable national regulatory standards.
«Digital sovereignty is not a theoretical concept; “It is fundamental for European competitiveness in the age of AI,” said Rolf Schumann, co-CEO of Schwarz Digits. «Incorporating a premium global cybersecurity technology standard to our sovereign platform is an important milestone for STACKIT and the European market. We are empowering organizations to strengthen their digital independence, while helping to ensure that the data that drives their AI innovations remains under their control. “This is the ‘Freedom of Choice’ our customers demand and the strategic resilience Europe needs to compete.”
Advanced protection aligned to speed requirements
“By integrating CrowdStrike’s Falcon cybersecurity platform directly into our EU-operated STACKIT infrastructure, we are helping to reduce the trade-off between world-class performance and strict data residency,” said Christian Müller, co-CEO of Schwarz Digits. “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to computing efficiency: we provide a platform-based layer of AI-native cybersecurity designed to protect complex workloads while minimizing the operational overhead of routing telemetry across borders. For our customers, this means advanced protection aligned with speed and technical interoperability requirements.”
Having a cybersecurity platform capable of operating within European sovereign infrastructures becomes essential
The first joint sovereign solutions resulting from this strategic partnership will be the Seraphic secure enterprise browser and a next-generation native AI-based SIEM. The collaboration will expand CrowdStrike’s ecosystem strategy while strengthening STACKIT’s sovereign cloud offering for security-conscious organizations in healthcare, financial services, public administration, defense and other regulated sectors. As part of this long-term strategic partnership, Schwarz Group companies will also consolidate their use of digital security on this CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform.
