In today’s digital landscape, organizations are increasingly relying on AI to stay competitive and foster innovation. The momentum is clear, with 85% of companies planning to move enterprise AI to their premises in the next 24 months. Meanwhile, 77% of AI seekers are looking for a holistic infrastructure provider to provide capabilities throughout their AI journey.
In this sense, Dell Technologies has announced new solutions with which to increase the performance and automation of AI workloads, while eliminating bottlenecks, offering greater control with an integrated and resilient on-premises infrastructure.
The enhancements made to Dell AI Factory are designed to simplify and accelerate the adoption of enterprise AI through the use of powerful, automated solutions. Dell’s expanded portfolio addresses these needs end-to-end, designed to optimize AI adoption and deliver impactful results.
Automated AI
Dell Automation Platform, now extended to Dell AI Factory, will deliver more intelligent and automated experiences by implementing validated and optimized solutions with a secure framework. This approach will produce repeatable results, eliminate guesswork, and help unlock the full potential of AI-powered use cases across Dell’s technology partner ecosystem.
Key advances include:
- Software-driven toolssuch as the AI code assistant with Tabnine and the agentic AI platform with Cohere North, are now automated, putting AI workloads into production faster, streamlining operations and improving scalability.
- Dell Professional Serviceswhich provide turnkey interactive AI use case pilots that use real customer data to validate business value before investments at scale. These expert-led pilots provide a practical preview for experimentation with clear success metrics and KPIs, delivering tangible ROI for the enterprise.
Performance and efficiency
How organizations manage, protect and scale that data will be key. Updates to Dell PowerScale and Dell ObjectScale, as well as Dell AI Data Platform storage engines, will increase performance, scalability, and data discovery capabilities.
- Dell PowerScale. It will soon be available as a standalone software license on qualified Dell PowerEdge servers such as the Dell PowerEdge R7725xd. The new Dell PowerScale and Dell ObjectScale configurations will help organizations such as cloud service providers achieve superior AI performance along with greater flexibility.
- Dell PowerScale Parallel NFS (pNFS) Support. With flexible file design, which will allow bidirectional communication between the metadata server and the client, allowing better parallel distribution of data across multiple nodes in a PowerScale cluster.
- Dell ObjectScale AI-Optimized Search. It offers two complementary AI-optimized search capabilities for Dell ObjectScale storage: S3 Tables and S3 Vector. These two specialized APIs provide high-speed access to complex data stored directly in ObjectScale.
PowerEdge Innovations
Dell PowerEdge servers provide the foundation for enterprise AI, delivering faster training, distributed inference, and reduced time to insight, while offering flexible cooling options to align with various business strategies:
- Dell PowerEdge XE9785 and XE9785L. They are designed specifically for next-generation AI and HPC workloads. The air-cooled XE9785 (10U) and direct liquid-cooled (3OU) XE9785L feature dual-socket AMD EPYC processors and eight AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs per node.
- The new Dell PowerEdge R770AP. It offers improved parallel processing, reduced memory latency, and abundant PCIe lanes that enable accelerated handshake algorithms, scalable memory configurations, and improved network performance.
Advanced networking for AI at scale
Dell is advancing open networking, accelerating AI framework deployments to help organizations scale to meet growing needs.
- Dell PowerSwitch Z9964F-ON and Z9964FL-ON. These switches accelerate AI workloads and HPC data centers, supporting large-scale air- and direct-liquid-cooled (DLC) deployments with more than 100,000 accelerator chips.
- Together with Enterprise SONiC Distribution from Dell Technologies and SmartFabric Manager for SONiC, users can more easily adopt innovative networking capabilities to accelerate large-scale AI fabrics.
- SmartFabric Manager. Now includes Dell AI Fabric integration, simplifying AI infrastructure deployment with automated blueprints for faster, error-free setup, significantly reducing deployment time with minimal manual intervention, including new automated deployment support for Dell PowerScale storage solutions.

Improvements in PCs with AI
Beyond the traditional data center, Dell’s ecosystem enablers for AI PCs now include expanded silicon support, including AMD Ryzen AI processors. With streamlined workflows and optimized performance on Dell AI PCs, this enhanced support allows developers to build AI applications on the device more efficiently.
Integrated, resilient infrastructure for greater control: New additions to Dell’s Integrated Scalable Rack Solutions (IRSS) program deliver reliable, intelligent infrastructure upgrades for greater scalability and maximum efficiency.
- OpenManage Enterprise (OME) now offers unified management from servers to rack-scale environments. OME consolidates compute, power and cooling management into a single console, automating up to 25,000 devices with integrated leak monitoring and automated response for maximum uptime.
- The Integrated Rack Controller (IRC) is a combined hardware and software solution that offers visibility and seamlessly integrates with OME and the Dell Integrated Remote Access Controller (iDRAC), providing rapid, automated leak detection and response at the rack level, minimizing downtime and risk.
- Refrigerant Distribution Unit (RCDU) Dell PowerCool rackmount rack is a compact, high-performance liquid cooling solution in a 4U form factor, supporting rack densities up to 150 kW for low-power AI deployments.
Arthur Lewis, president of the Infrastructure Solutions Group at Dell Technologies, appreciates all these new developments presented by the company, stating that “enterprises tell us they want AI capabilities in their own infrastructure, but complexity has been an obstacle. Dell AI Factory removes that obstacle with built-in automation and performance that allows enterprises to deploy AI at scale and see real returns.”
