IONOS and Virtual Cable have signed a strategic agreement to promote the digital sovereignty of companies through VDI solutions. Thanks to this alliance, Virtual Cable becomes part of the IONOS Cloud Partner Program as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) in the Bring Your Own License (BYOL) modality, reinforcing its positioning in the field of VDI solutions.

This agreement will allow Virtual Cable customers to deploy UDS Enterprise, its solution for desktop virtualization (VDI), applications and remote access, on IONOS’ secure and sovereign cloud infrastructure, facilitating the adoption of advanced VDI solutions. In this way, organizations will be able to provide their staff and collaborators with a modern, flexible and scalable digital workplace, integrating their corporate applications through VDI solutions and with the guarantee that both their data and their business applications are hosted in European data centers, complying with the strictest data protection regulations, such as the GDPR.

“In a context marked by geopolitical uncertainty and a growing need for control over digital assets, the IONOS cloud eliminates any doubt when launching a digital project,” says Guillermo Arana, Manager of IONOS Cloud in Spain. “Our platform, based on open source standards and operated in Europe, guarantees complete digital sovereignty and maximum legal security. The collaboration with Virtual Cable reinforces our ecosystem and allows Spanish companies to access leading VDI solutions on a completely trustworthy infrastructure.”

Flexibility and scalability united

The alliance unites the flexibility and customization of Virtual Cable’s UDS Enterprise platform with the performance, scalability and resilience of IONOS’ cloud infrastructure, driving the development of more efficient VDI solutions. This provides organizations with centralized and secure management of their work environments based on VDI solutions, optimizing operational efficiency and improving the end-user experience.

“The alliance with IONOS is a natural and strategic step for both companies,” highlights Félix Casado, CEO of Virtual Cable. “Data sovereignty is a priority issue on the agenda of any CIO. From now on, our customers will be able to deploy flexible and customizable VDI solutions on the 100% European IONOS cloud. This not only guarantees efficient performance and scalability, but also that their most valuable asset in digital transformation, their data, will always comply with EU regulatory frameworks.”

This agreement consolidates the commitment of both companies to offer the market VDI solutions and European technologies that strengthen the digital independence and competitiveness of companies, in an increasingly complex and regulated environment. IONOS acts as Europe’s digitalization partner and trusted cloud provider, while Virtual Cable will provide all its expertise in what has to do with the digital transformation of the workplace through VDI solutions.
