The European Central Bank (ECB) has selected DXC Technology to support its IT infrastructure and operations services. This is a collaboration that reinforces operational stability, flexibility and agility in the ECB’s digital environment.
According to the published contract award notice, the ECB has concluded a unique framework agreement with DXC Technology, a leader in business technology and innovation, for the provision of managed IT infrastructure and workplace services.
Provided exclusively from DXC delivery centers in the European Economic Area (EEA), the framework agreement, with an initial duration of 5 years and a maximum duration of 8 years, will support the ECB in its infrastructures and in maintaining stable, scalable and modern IT operations.
DXC Technology will assume operations, maintenance and support of various IT services. The ECB will retain full ownership of all IT assets and will continue to host its services in secure data centers, fully aligned with its governance and security framework.
“DXC’s solution aligns with the ECB’s vision and is based on our proven capabilities in regulated environments,” says Juan Parra, President for Europe at DXC Technology. “The ECB plays a key role in maintaining price stability and protecting the European financial system. DXC is proud to support this mission through its extensive technological expertise and offering.”
