Spotify started the global trend of annual summaries in the form of interactive reels, and it is not surprising that platforms such as Apple Music or Tidal copied this idea, but there are brands from which we did not expect “Wrapped” at all. You can now check your shopping summary of the year in the Lidl Plus application.

Shopping instead of playlists – Lidl sums up the year in the Lidl Plus application

Instead of the number of hours listened to, we have the frequency of purchases at a German grocery discount store, and instead of favorite artists, we have the most frequently purchased products. Lidl decided to join the trend and provided its customers with a visual overview of consumer activity by the end of 2025.

What can we find in the Lidl summary? First of all, a list of the percentage of purchase engagement, calculated based on activity related to coupons, promotional offers and scratch cards. There is also the exact number of purchases during which we used the Lidl Plus card (divided by month), the most frequently selected products and favorite categories, and even charging electric cars – because Lidl also has its own charging stations. You can even check how many times you have viewed promotional leaflets.

There are also discount coupons for customers who check their summary, so it is also an opportunity to save a few zlotys. It seems funny, it seems a bit unnecessary, but in fact it may be a valuable shopping tip for someone. For example, I didn’t realize that I buy skyr in Lidl so often, and although this information brings absolutely nothing to my life, it can be considered a cool curiosity.
