In the food sector, where traceability, operational efficiency and data reliability are differential factors, Foster Food has made a key decision: to reimplant its ERP to boost its growth. This Madrid firm, specialized in fourth and fifth -end products, has trusted Aitana to carry out a deep review of its technological infrastructure. The result has been an operational transformation that is already paying fruit.
The company already had Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, but its initial implementation did not respond to the real business needs. Bad reflected processes, inconsistent data and a high manual load had turned the ERP into an obstacle instead of an ally. This situation affected key areas such as warehouse, customer service or B2B platform, also making the traceability of its products, a critical aspect in the food industry.
Aware that growth demanded a robust technological base, Foster Food decided to turn. “We were at a point where we needed to professionalize our management if we wanted to grow. Technology should stop being a brake and become an ally,” summarizes Coral Verde, CEO of the company. Aitana’s choice as a technological partner was decisive to face this challenge.
Audit, data cleaning and focus on efficiency
The first phase of the project was an integral analysis of the system. Francisco Bernal, business consultant in Aitana, explains that “the first step was to analyze in depth the processes, the quality of the data and the external developments that impacted on the ERP. From there we designed a plan that covered from the purification of the data to the training of the equipment.”
A second technological opportunity to advance with a firm step
This redesign culminated in a complete reimplantation on a cloud platform, which has eliminated physical servers dependence and has allowed adopting automatic updates. In addition, specific tools such as Idynamics Warehousefor advanced inventory management, and Idynamics SIIwhich automates communication with the Tax Agency.
Reliable data, more agile decisions
The changes have not taken to reflect. The company has regained confidence in its systems, with precise and real -time information, something that is directly impacting its decision -making capacity and their daily operation. “We are much more agile when it comes to extracting and exploiting the information. Having the correct data simplifies the management and allows us to be more efficient,” says Coral Verde.
The project has also promoted the digitalization of the warehouse, now equipped with advanced terminals, and has optimized the B2B platform, improving the experience of its professional customers. The CEO also highlights the constant accompaniment by the partner: “The proximity and dedication of the Aitana team has been fundamental. We are not a number, but a company with specific needs, and that has been key to success.”
