We have officially announced the list of new emojis that will be available to users in the next update. In total, 164 new icons will be added to the already rich package.
The set of emojis is constantly expanding. Currently, there are hundreds of different icons waiting for us to use, and new ones are added every dozen or so months. A few months ago, we officially learned what new features are coming to this rich set. A total of 164 new icons were sent, which will probably be added to the existing icons next fall. The lion’s share of them are new variants of existing emojis, but there is also room for several completely new ones.

The list of completely new emojis may not be terribly large, but I think many will be pleased. The completely new icons include:
- Disfigured face
- Cartoon fight cloud
- Ballet dancer
- Apple core
- Plowing (orca)
- Bigfoot
- Trombone
- Landslide
- Treasure chest
In addition, there will be a whole set of new variants related to skin and hair colors for the icons that have been available for some time.
It is worth bearing in mind, however, that although the new emojis have already been approved and officially presented, we will have to wait a little longer for access to them. We expect an update sometime next fall. There is a good chance that they will appear with new versions of the software on both iPhones and Androids, and in the meantime they will also appear on a whole set of other devices.
