Hotelverse has presented its latest innovations and a new product at FITUR that promises to facilitate the use of its technology for both hoteliers and travelers. After closing a financing round of 5 million euros in September, the company has revolutionized room reservation processes through the use of digital twins, which allow users to live immersive experiences and increase their satisfaction.

This technology has been optimized to open new avenues of income for hoteliers. During the web reservation process, in post-sales or upon arrival at the hotel, guests can see a hyper-realistic representation of the hotel and choose the exact room they want to stay in, in exchange for an additional cost. To date, 20% of clients have used this functionality, generating an average increase of 69 euros per selected room.

Fermín Carmona, co-founder and CEO of Hotelverse, explains: «Traditionally, room allocation has been done organically, without the client having any choice. With our technology, travelers can choose the type of room they want to spend their vacation in, the views when they go out to the balcony or how close they want to be to the pool. Thus, hotels manage to increase their income thanks to the activation of a new source of income, non-existent until now, by charging for selection.

Hotelverse: Digital Twins in the hotel industry

The implementation of digital twins has resulted in a higher rate of interaction with the user, with 103% more time on page, an increase in web conversion of over 15% and up to 70% more interest in category rooms superior. These results not only increase the profitability of hotels, but also respond to the needs of different types of guests.

With the aim of facilitating the use of its technology, Hotelverse has launched a new functionality that allows customers to choose an exact room on a 3D map of the hotel from the reservation confirmation email. This service, powered by artificial intelligence, allows you to select rooms based on preferences from previous trips, personalized recommendations, popular options among other users and multiple filters such as bed type or square meters. In addition, hoteliers maintain control over the entire reservation process, being able to accept or reject requests, block rooms or establish minimum empty periods between occupancy.

Plans for 2025

Hotelverse has ambitious plans for 2025, focused on consolidating its internationalization and continuing to innovate its product line to generate additional revenue for hotels. Rafael Bover, co-founder and COO of Hotelverse, comments: «This last year we have managed to achieve our business objectives, close our Series A and exceed the threshold of 3 million views per day of digital twins. This demonstrates the consolidation of our business structure and the strength of the team that makes up Hotelverse. Our plans for 2025 are ambitious, but we are convinced that we will achieve them, thanks to the support of our customers and partners.
