HP has introduced new AI-based software and a series of digital press innovations designed to help professional print service providers (PSPs) drive profitable growth by streamlining operations, increasing productivity and strengthening control in increasingly complex production environments. For HP, the future of work involves empowering PSPs to generate sustainable growth through technology. The company continues to expand its value proposition with innovations that make uninterrupted large-scale digital printing possible, optimizing each phase of the production process.

“As digital printing evolves to meet new demands, our customers are no longer just purchasing presses; they are investing in results: predictable productivity and speed at scale,” said Haim Levit, senior vice president and president, HP Industrial Print business. “At Dscoop Edge Rockies, we show how our commitment to 24/7 digital printing translates into those results, connecting press innovation, smart workflows and AI-powered reliability across the entire production lifecycle.”

Professional printing and label production

HP has reaffirmed its commitment to the mid-range A3 professional printing market with the launch of the new HP Indigo 7K+ digital press. Based on the proven 7X00 platform, with more than 2,200 presses installed worldwide and a proven track record, the new press offers greater profitability, versatility and operational simplicity, in line with HP’s vision for uninterrupted digital printing.

“Our journey towards seamless digital printing continues with determination. At dscoop, we demonstrate once again that innovation at HP Indigo never stops. With the introduction of the HP Indigo 7K+ Digital Press, we reinforce our commitment to the professional A3 market, while accelerating our momentum in the commercial B2, label and flexible packaging segment.

The new HP Indigo 7K+ addresses the needs of mid-range customers seeking greater automation and operational simplicity, along with improved cost efficiency and flexible print mode options, to support both high-margin specialty applications and profitable everyday jobs.

The HP Indigo 7K+ incorporates print automation and artificial intelligence tools that streamline manual processes and enable more efficient, data-driven decision making. Additionally, the new ECO print mode offers a cost-effective four-color option that uses thinner layers of ink, ideal for text-heavy or less image-quality-sensitive jobs.

“The HP Indigo 7K+ Digital Press fits perfectly with our business model, offering the flexibility, speed and performance that today’s market demands. We have extensively tested the ECO print mode and found that the color quality meets our standards on the majority of jobs, even for our most demanding customers.

News in HP Indigo family

Additionally, HP has introduced the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, available to HP Indigo 100K customers. The Value Pack has been installed on dozens of presses in North America and EMEA, demonstrating great value in production parameters such as increased uptime, reliability and consistent delivery, thanks to optimized improvements to both hardware and software.

“Since installing the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, we have seen increased productivity and a more stable and consistent workflow. After a short learning period, our operators now prefer the new software. It is intuitive, easy to use, and makes problem resolution faster and more effective. Overall, the new Value Pack has significantly improved operator efficiency and confidence,” said Raúl López Jr., COO of L&L.

HP has also reached 100 installations of the HP Indigo 200K Digital Press, underscoring the strong global momentum for digital labels and flexible packaging. This milestone highlights the growing demand for agile, short-run, multi-part production models, which reduce lead times and support sustainable packaging strategies.

As part of the vision of uninterrupted digital printing, HP Indigo has announced the expansion of its portfolio with the incorporation of the most complete and printing-focused automated mobile robots (AMR) in the sector, thanks to a collaboration with MoviĜo Robotics.

For the first time, HP will sell and fully support these AMRs directly, enabling true end-to-end automation across the entire manufacturing floor. The reinforced portfolio includes AMRs designed for B2 pallets of HP Indigo professional sheet-fed presses, as well as postal pallets, carts and racks. It also introduces the new Sharko 5 RT from , designed specifically for rotary presses in HP Indigo Labels and Packaging and HP PageWide web transport environments.

Adam Carnell, CEO of Bluetree Group, said: “MoviĜo has radically transformed how motion works within our factory. Instead of designing our processes around fixed limitations, we now have a seemingly limitless solution that truly adapts to the needs of high-volume, high-mix print manufacturing.

Ten years of HP PrintOS and moving forward with HP Nio

HP celebrates 10 years of HP PrintOS, which now connects thousands of devices around the world and enables automated, data-driven production management. “The levels of automation, data and insight that HP PrintOS delivers are a key factor in TGI’s continued growth,” said Jack Glacken, CEO of Today’s Graphics.

Based on this, HP Nio is now available on the market. Powered by HP PrintOS, HP’s AI-based production intelligence solution introduces a conversational AI experience that transforms real-time production data and technical knowledge into clear, actionable guidance.

“For years, our customers have told us that printing itself is no longer the challenge, but managing the complexity that surrounds it,” said Diana Pascual Soldevilla, general manager of HP Industrial Print Software and Solutions. “We’re focused on intelligent, human-centric automation, where AI complements teams rather than replaces them. With HP PrintOS and HP Nio, we turn data into clarity, help teams understand what’s happening in their production environment, and give them the confidence to act faster, with more control and less effort.”

“With HP Nio you can ask any business question you want and get real-time answers immediately and accurately. It’s a revolutionary change. And the learning curve is literally 5 seconds,” said Christopher Burnley, CEO of Corefact. “By helping teams understand what’s happening, why it’s important, and what to do next, HP Nio enables faster decision-making, higher productivity, and safer operations at scale. Available through the Productivity Power Pack and Knowledge Zone, HP Nio extends intelligent automation to digital printing workflows.”

New workflow improvements

HP continues to expand HP Site Flow with enhancements that include the integration of Ultimate Impostrip, expanded support for orders of up to 1,000 lines processed end-to-end, a new uptime calendar to improve SLA accuracy, a simplified Site Flow Power-up model to shorten onboarding time, and expanded mobile capabilities.

The company has also announced its collaboration with GoMake, a cloud-native, AI-assisted quoting and production management solution for small and medium-sized print service providers and converters. GoMake automatically defines optimal production plans, improves cost accuracy, and speeds up customer response times. Integrated through HP open APIs, it streamlines job submission and real-time data collection, helping print service providers win more orders and improve their margins.

Unified management platform

HP is also accelerating the connection between brands and PSPs with updates to HP Brand Center, which simplify how brands submit jobs and help reduce onboarding time to just a few days. The platform enables standardized yet flexible integrations that adapt to each brand and PSPs’ existing systems, including product definitions, SKUs, file formats and workflow rules.

By avoiding process disruption and reducing manual configuration, HP Brand Center helps PSPs strengthen relationships with brands, accelerate order receipt, and turn connectivity into a competitive advantage. Custom adapters are already being used with multiple PSPs and brands.

The new versions of the Creativity Power Pack include updated versions of HP SmartStream Designer for Adobe InDesign CC2026 and Adobe Illustrator CC2026, which support advanced variable data and customization workflows.

HP is also previewing the redesigned HP PrintOS mobile app, which offers improved performance, a unified user experience, and deeper integration with Site Flow.
