Magnetic finger holders and stands are accessories that have gained enormous popularity in recent years. You can choose and choose from among the products available on the market. However, I have spent the last few weeks with a proposition from UAG: Magnetic Ring Stand. It is a solid, multifunctional solution. And I have no doubt that this accessory deserves the attention of anyone who is looking for a practical and stylish addition to their phone.
The quality of workmanship is at the highest level
The first thing that catches the eye about the UAG Magnetic Ring Stand is the attention to the smallest details and the high quality of both the materials it is composed of and the workmanship itself. Unlike cheap, plastic counterparts available for a few zlotys, the UAG product is made of zinc die-cast with a polished metallic finish. The construction is extremely solid: the hinges operate smoothly and at the same time offer adequate resistance, thanks to which the holder in a given position remains stable and holds the phone at a selected angle.
The characteristic hexagonal design is not only a showcase of the UAG brand, but also a functional element that increases grip. The metallic finish with a slightly grainy, matte texture makes the handle fit securely in the hand, minimizing the risk of accidentally dropping the phone. UAG Magnetic Ring Stand is a product that impresses not only with its quality, but above all with its versatility of applications. The holder offers a full 360-degree rotation, which allows you to freely position the phone in both portrait and landscape orientation. Thanks to its foldable design, it can also be used as a stand at various angles – an ideal solution for watching movies, making video calls or using the phone on the desk. I don’t need it on a daily basis – I have a MagSafe charger with tilt adjustment on my desk, but it turns out to be an irreplaceable companion when traveling.
Especially since the strong magnetic holder ensures that the phone is securely attached. Ring works with MagSafe-compatible devices – also through a case. Importantly: the set includes a magnetic adapter, thanks to which the accessory can also be used with phones without built-in MagSafe. Since I, my family and friends only use iPhones that offer MagSafe, I haven’t had the opportunity to test it in practice.
The ring can be easily removed when you need to wirelessly charge or mount the phone in a car holder. And this is the biggest “but” in the case of this accessory, and in this area it loses to cases that have similar stands built-in. Even though it is slim and really pleasing to the eye: we will not use the MagSafe charger or power banks when it is attached to the smartphone.
An inconspicuous accessory you can trust
UAG Magnetic Ring Stand is an inconspicuous accessory at first glance. However, it is a premium accessory: and you can feel it from the first time you hold it in your hand. If you are fed up with stands that are falling apart and whose hinges do not work properly, this may be the solution for you. High-quality materials, well-thought-out design and versatility of applications make it a product that stands out from the abundant market competition. Although its price is higher than cheap plastic counterparts, the quality of workmanship fully justifies it.
Thoughtful, refined, comfortable and really works. This MagSafe stand works great and has become a permanent part of my travel repertoire.
