There are Ikea furniture without which it is difficult to imagine arranging the space in your own home. It may sound a bit crazy, but for me it proves the usefulness of some solutions. This creator liked the pegboard so much that he created a special page.

The Skadis series is one of the best aids available on the market. Its main element are perforated boards made of plastic, to which dedicated accessories can be attached. It is so flexible that I personally have it strapped to my desk horizontally, and supported by elastic cords, it hangs… My small Mac Mini computer. One developer went a step further and created a special, small website dedicated to this solution, and it looks like it came straight from Ikea!

Anyone who likes arrangement and practical Ikea solutions will be delighted

This small web application is called Skapa, which, according to the author’s knowledge, supposedly means something like “create” or “make” in Swedish, but he is not sure. Nevertheless, Skapa has been designed in a super minimalist way. It literally has two sliders and a button to download the file you need to print on a 3D printer.

The application is really easy to use and allows you to create many trays. As the author describes on his blog, what seems simple at first glance required more effort than meets the eye. First of all, he wanted simplicity of use combined with the familiar, black and white design of the instructions that Ikea adds to its products.

Creating such an homage also required careful selection of components, such as not using a font created for Ikea (IKEA Sans) – an easy way to avoid getting sued. Moreover, in the instructions of the Swedish company, a specific 2D perspective is used, and here objects can simply be rotated. Along the way, many sliders were also removed, a more intuitive form was given and voila!

It is possible that the author will add more articles, but for now he has finished his work.
