The company Infinigate, specialized in cybersecurity, cloud and network infrastructure solutions, celebrates its 30th anniversary in the market, consolidated as one of the main global technology wholesalers and as one of the leaders in the cybersecurity channel. Founded in Switzerland in 1996, the company has evolved from a regional distributor to become an international group with a presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, maintaining sustained growth over the last three decades.
Three decades of experience
This anniversary will also mark the agenda of Infinigate Iberia throughout 2026. The subsidiary, which began its activity in Spain almost two years ago, has established itself as a key piece within the group’s strategy in southern Europe, with a positioning clearly aligned with specialization in cybersecurity.
In this short period of time, Infinigate Iberia has configured an offer made up of more than twenty manufacturers and has focused on a value model aimed at cybersecurity, managed services and technical support for the channel. Its evolution is based on the same DNA that has historically defined the company at a global level: specialization, proximity to the market and a strong vocation for partnership.
“In Spain we are a young company, but we are part of a group with a very clear DNA and a solid track record in cybersecurity,” says Reinaldo RodrÃguez, general director of Infinigate Iberia, “Our ambition is to build a top-level brand, recognized for its specialization, for the value it brings to the channel and for its ability to accompany partners and manufacturers in increasingly complex projects. We want the market to identify us as a world class company.”
Integration and consolidation
After its first years of expansion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the Infinigate group promoted a growth strategy based on decisive acquisitions. The integration of Nuvias, Vuzion and D2B reinforced its positioning in Europe, while the incorporation of Starlink in 2022 represented a strategic achievement by consolidating its leadership in the Middle East and Africa. More recently, the acquisition of Wavelink has allowed the group to extend its activity to Australia and New Zealand. This geographical expansion has been accompanied by the growth of its workforce, which now exceeds 1,500 employees, and by a portfolio of manufacturers that includes some of the main technological leaders in the sector.
Throughout its 30-year history, Infinigate has recorded an average annual growth of more than 20%, even in recent complex economic contexts. This performance has been supported by three fundamental pillars. Firstly, its ability to constantly adapt to market needs, secondly, a close and sustained collaboration with manufacturers and channel partners and, finally, a clearly defined identity as a cybersecurity specialist. In this sense, the evolution towards subscription models and software as a service has been essential to facilitate the channel’s access to the latest technologies through more flexible and efficient schemes.
“When I founded Infinigate I had great ambitions, but I never imagined that the company would maintain double-digit growth for 30 years,” says David MartÃnez, founder of Infinigate, “We remain faithful to our specialization in cybersecurity and our commitment to generating value for manufacturers and partners. That has always been our main merit.”

According to forecasts by global market research and consulting company MarketsandMarkets, the global cybersecurity market will grow from $39.47 billion in 2025 to $66.83 billion in 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 11.1%.
With a strategy focused on its specialization in cybersecurity, collaboration with manufacturers and partners, and the clear ambition to continue raising the standard of value-added distribution, Infinigate begins this new stage with the aim of accelerating shared growth and continuing to set the direction of the channel on a global scale.
