Volkswagen and Dassault Systèmes have announced a long -term collaboration to improve the digital infrastructure of the German car manufacturer by implementing the 3Dexperience in the cloud platform. This alliance will allow the manufacturer to optimize the development of latest generation vehicles using virtual twins, a technology that facilitates the simulation, test and improvement of each aspect of development in a collaborative virtual environment.
The 3Dexperience platform will be used by engineers, designers and other professionals from Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche brands. This tool will allow equipment to work more efficiently, ensuring compliance with global regulations and sustainability standards before starting physical production.
