According to data from the deputy minister of education – Joanna Mucha – it shows that over 150,000 currently attend Polish schools. children from Ukraine. This is a big challenge not only for the education system, but also for the students themselves who must adapt to the new language barriers. Some words in our languages intertwine, but youth slang has its own rules and can be incomprehensible even to slightly older Poles. So how do students from Ukraine deal with it? Action can help with this It’s driving you crazy.
Goal: make it easier for ice cream to students from Poland and Ukraine.
I imagine that the very requirement to suddenly start studying in another country is traumatic for a child – not to mention the need to get along with peers. Young people need to be integrated with youth methods, which is why the Save The Children Foundation started in Poland with the campaign It’s driving you crazy. On the official website of the project you will find numerous stickers in two languages that can be downloaded and printed for free.
The Foundation has selected phrases and sayings that appear most often on school desks to help break the ice for students from Poland and Ukraine. There were phrases such as “give you”, “rel”, “softest” or simply “how are you”.
“Cheating the talk” is a campaign organized by the Save the Children Foundation, which supports the integration of Ukrainian students in Polish schools. And what is important – he does it with the help of a language that students know perfectly well.
At ease, without pressure and instructions – as the organizers say.
