ManpowerGroup has presented the Work Intelligence Lab (WIL) in Spain, a global think tank conceived as a laboratory of knowledge, experimentation and collaboration. Its purpose is to boost the competitiveness and productivity of companies and professionals, and contribute to building a fairer, more inclusive and sustainable work environment.
WIL was born with the ambition of becoming a reference for all agents involved in the workplace, from companies and institutions to professionals and society in general, generating practical intelligence that helps shape the future of employment. The activity will be organized in different work commissions that will address the present and future challenges of organizations within the labor ecosystem.
ManpowerGroup’s Work Intelligence Lab is based on three fundamental pillars. Firstly, its commitment to competitiveness and productivity, understood as drivers of progress that are strengthened by combining talent, technology and labor evolution. Second, specialized knowledge, which transforms data and experience into valuable information to support business and leadership decisions. And, finally, the laboratory spirit, aimed at bringing together experts, academics and professionals to collaborate, experiment and co-create content and solutions driven by knowledge, artificial intelligence and data analysis with a labor impact.
“In a world as complex as today’s, there are no roadmaps with proven results. Collaboration and debate are essential to move forward. That is why we want to create spaces where data intelligence and co-creation drive useful solutions for managers and professionals,” said Raúl Sánchez, country manager of ManpowerGroup Spain. The manager added that “the Work Intelligence Lab represents a new stage in our way of understanding organizations, talent and labor transformation.”
Strategic vision in the workplace
The presentation event, held in Madrid, featured the notable participation of Brené Brown, professor and researcher at the University of Houston and renowned global expert on leadership. The academic shared her vision on the importance of maintaining a solid strategy despite the emergencies of the environment, as well as on the way in which managers should manage their vulnerability, strengthen trust and create teams aimed at continuous improvement within the workplace.

Under the motto “Creating the future of work through insight, collaboration and action”, this first work and debate session brought together executives from entities such as Accenture, Acotex, Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Chanel, Chiesi, Junior Achievement, La Distribución-ANGED, MasOrange, Microsoft, NTT Data, Pfizer, Ricoh Iberia, Sqrups or Urbaser, in order to analyze the role of leaders and innovation in the future of work. The hosts were Raúl Sánchez, country manager of ManpowerGroup Spain; Vicenç Álvaro, marketing director of the company; and Myriam Blázquez, general director of Experis Spain, who also acted as master of ceremonies.
With this initiative, ManpowerGroup reinforces its commitment to the competitiveness of companies and to a more humane, inclusive and technologically advanced future of work. The Work Intelligence Lab is positioned as a meeting point, in Spain and on a global scale, to share ideas and transform the way in which organizations face their work challenges.
