CGI has signed a three-year contract with Michelin, the world’s leading manufacturer of compounds and experiences that transform our daily lives, to develop and maintain its Supply Chain and Industrial Production Planning applications. CGI will also be involved in providing support to Michelin’s Customer Experience and Services and Solutions areas.

CGI supports Michelin in the harmonization of its application ecosystem, in particular through the creation and integration of solutions, as well as the associated support.

This collaboration is part of Michelin’s important transition in recent years to become a software and data-driven organization, essential for the continuous improvement of its user experience and its competitiveness at each stage of the value chain.

According to Jean Paul Bouchon, head of Business Solutions at Michelin, “With this collaboration, we jointly support our approach to continuous improvement and innovation.” “We develop and offer solutions”, explains Bouchon, “that improve the resilience of our systems while optimizing our services: great opportunities to accelerate the transformation of our organization, while strengthening our collaboration.”

According to Jean-Michel Baticle, president and COO of CGI, “The collaboration between Michelin and CGI is driven by a shared commitment to harnessing innovation and cutting-edge digital solutions that meet changing market needs.” “By combining the sector and technological experience of our teams around the world,” Baticle emphasizes, “We enable Michelin to accelerate its transformation, optimize operational efficiency and achieve tangible business results.”

Nearly 800 CGI employees in France, Canada, the United States, Morocco and India will work alongside Michelin on this strategic project.
