In an increasingly competitive environment and with a growing demand for managed services, administered service providers (MSP) need more than good intentions to climb. They require tools that reduce operational fragmentation, increase the efficiency of their technicians and allow offering services with true added value. It is precisely where Manageengine wants to position himself, the Zoho Corporation Division specialized in IT solutions, with the launch of MSP Central, a unified platform designed from scratch for this type of suppliers.
Far from being a simple evolution of its previous solutions, MSP Central seeks to group in the same console all the key components of IT management: remote monitoring, Endpoint Security, Automation of Professional Services (PSA), Technical Assets and Workflows visibility, all under a modular and native architecture in the cloud.
“We had technicians changing among multiple consoles only to solve a single client incident, a true obstacle in the time and in volume of tickets. We were looking for a tool that could unite everything that our team needs without adding complexity or locking ourselves in a rigid stack,” says Edgar MartÃnez, commercial manager of Evolutionit, one of the companies that has tried the platform before its official launch.
Designed tailored to the MSP model
Manageengine’s proposal responds to a context in which the managed service market is expected to reach 511 billion dollars by 2029. For MSP, this implies the need to climb without losing control or quality, something that is often hindered by disintected technical environments and solutions that do not communicate with each other.
Internally built, MSP Central allows MSP (supplier of managed services) to centralize service workflows, device control, threat protection and performance supervision on a single platform
“With Central MSP, we are gathering the best of the proven IT management capacities and Manageengine security on a platform designed from scratch for MSP. Our goal is to allow MSP to consolidate operations, eliminate the proliferation of tools and improve the efficiency of its equipment from a unified console,” says Mathivanan Venkatachalam, vice president of the company.
Modular functionalities and ready to integrate
Among the capabilities that the new platform includes:
- Modular architecture: Selective adoption of functionalities, without obligation to hire closed packages.
- Remote device management (RMM): Multi -user support with patches, proactive remediation and visibility of assets.
- Integrated PSA: Ticket management, contracts, slas, billing and time monitoring from a single flow.
- Servers and systems monitoring: Compatible with Windows, Linux, databases and virtual environments.
- Advanced Safety for Endpoints: With tools against ransomware, application control, safe browser and vulnerability management.
- Automation with AI: From the detection of feelings in tickets to predictive alerts.
- Open connectivity: Integration with more than 20 third -party tools through API and predefined connectors.
In addition, MSP Central has been designed to easily integrate into cloud marketplaces and partners ecosystems, with modulable prices according to the selected functionalities.
The road map: beyond management
Manageengine has already anticipated that this platform is only the first step of a more ambitious strategy that will include capacities such as SIEM, privileged access management (PAM) and advanced analytics. It is also planned to expand integrations with business applications and compliance tools.
“We are starting with RMM, PSA and advanced monitoring, but this is just the beginning,” concludes Venkatachalam. “Our vision is that all MSP products in Manageengine are integrated under this common platform, providing flexibility and real scalability to help suppliers grow with their customers.”
Availability
MSP Central is now available globally, and promises to become a reference for those who seek efficiency, control and a unified vision of their operations.
