The ASUS company has added two new monitors to its ProArt OLED range. These are the ProArt Display OLED models PA279CDV and PA329CDV. The 26.5-inch ProArt OLED Display PA279CDV and 31.5-inch PA329CDV feature 4K QD-OLED panels with a maximum brightness of up to 1,000 nits for exceptional contrast.

With 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, true 10-bit color depth, and factory calibration with a color accuracy of Delta E < 1.5, both monitors are designed to meet the demands of video editing, color correction, and other professional post-production workflows.

USB C Connectivity with Auto KVM

In addition, they have an anti-scratch film that improves scratch resistance up to 2.5 times compared to the previous generation, compatibility with Mac and advanced features such as Auto KVM, which allows you to control two laptops with a single keyboard or mouse. Its extensive connectivity, including USB-C with 96 Watt Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, also makes it easy to integrate into different workspaces.

The ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV monitors offer up to 1000 nits of brightness, delivering exceptional contrast between the deepest blacks and brightest whites. In addition, its refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and variable refresh rate (VRR) technology ensure smooth image playback, making it easy to quickly render and perform quality checks on a single screen.

They are designed to meet high industry standards, offering 99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 coverage. Their 10-bit true color depth allows for the reproduction of more than 1.07 billion colors, providing a wide color spectrum for video editing and post-production.

To ensure faithful color reproduction, each display is factory calibrated and rigorously tested using the brand’s advanced grayscale technology with smoother color gradations, greater uniformity, and Delta E < 1.5 color accuracy.

Both models feature an anti-scratch protective film that increases panel hardness and provides up to 2.5 times more scratch resistance compared to previous generation QD-OLED panels. They also integrate ASUS OLED Care, a function designed to protect the screen and minimize the risk of image burn-in.

As far as connectivity is concerned, they have USB-C ports with 96 W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, a USB 3.2 hub and three USB Type A ports, thus facilitating the connection between devices. Additionally, the Auto KVM feature allows you to control two connected computers using a single keyboard and mouse. Both models are compatible for Mac users and incorporate the M Model-P3 color adjustment, designed to synchronize screen colors with macOS devices.

Additionally, ASUS DisplayWidget Center for macOS allows users to easily adjust parameters such as contrast or color temperature, and regulate monitor brightness directly from the MacBook controls. The 120Hz variable refresh rate also ensures flawless synchronization using Apple ProMotion technology.
