Prosegur Cybersecurity, the cybersecurity unit of Prosegur Security, in its commitment to enhance the development of its SOC by xMDR service, has presented two new modules, xCope and xEcute, which aim to provide companies and organizations with a new corporate digital surveillance service and another high-performance automation and integration service, to consolidate a more intelligent, scalable and efficiency-oriented security architecture.

The launch of these solutions, developed by the engineers of the cybersecurity unit in Spain, seeks to reduce the distance between the identification of digital threats and the operational response capacity. While xCope acts as an external surveillance system that anticipates potential risks, xEcute provides an automation framework designed to execute containment actions and coordinate business processes efficiently.

In this way, Prosegur Cybersecurity reinforces its commitment to the creation of specialized technology of national origin and to the democratization of access to advanced cybersecurity capabilities for different types of organizations.

Surveillance beyond the perimeter

xCope is a cyber surveillance system designed to monitor activity that takes place outside the direct control of organizations. Its main function is to act as an early warning system capable of identifying risk signals in non-indexed areas of the Internet, detecting fraudulent domain registrations and monitoring leaked employee credentials.

The expansion of teleworking, the use of cloud services and the proliferation of unmanaged tools have reduced the effectiveness of the classic corporate perimeter. Today, a significant part of the activity that affects companies occurs in external environments; it is in those same spaces where the exchange of corporate information coexists and impersonation campaigns are prepared.

According to Carlos A. Fernández, director of the xMDR division of Prosegur Cybersecurity, “the activity that affects companies is no longer concentrated solely on their internal systems. With xCope we incorporate a surveillance capacity that allows us to alert about movements before they are executed, monitoring emerging vulnerabilities in credentials and systems, as well as brand abuse.”

This corporate digital surveillance complement is integrated into Prosegur Cybersecurity’s SOC by xMDR service through different service levels that allow its scope to be adjusted to the exposure level of each organization. This structure makes it easier for companies of different sizes to access external analysis and anticipate activities that impact their operations, compliance or reputation.

High efficiency in automation

As a complement to this external surveillance, the company has also introduced an automation module that allows reducing the time gap between detection and response, while covering technical, technological and procedural aspects to provide relief to all teams involved.

Prosegur’s xEcute module executes workflows that streamline synchronization between tools, equipment and procedures, allowing pre-approved actions to be automated and drastically reducing manual efforts in response processes. With this capability, organizations can significantly decrease exposure time, improve operational efficiency, and ensure critical actions are executed consistently and frictionlessly.

“With xEcute we take a decisive step in the modernization of response processes. This module allows us to significantly reduce dependence on manual tasks and ensure that critical actions are executed with the speed and consistency required by the current cyber threat environment. Its ability to coordinate tools, equipment and procedures provides organizations with a level of operational efficiency that is difficult to achieve with traditional models,” underlines the director of the xMDR division of Prosegur Cybersecurity.
