Sage Iberia has achieved a 9% growth in total income worldwide and 12% in its recurring business such as Saas company, promoted by solutions such as Sage 50, Sage 200 and X3. In the last year, he has incorporated 7,000 new customers in Spain and Portugal, and 1,500 clients have migrated to Cloud solutions. This has stressed, in a recent press conference, José Luis Martín Zabala, Managing Director of Sage Iberia.
In Spain, the penetration in the subscription model is 80%, with 18% of customers who are still using on-premise solutions. And, the renewal of services and the expansion of solutions to existing customers are key to increasing penetration and footprint within customers. The company focuses on two market segments: Small (autonomous and small businesses) and Medium (medium -sized companies). “The Small segment is more volatile, while the medium shows greater loyalty,” explains Martín Zabala.

In the last year, the company in Iberia has incorporated 7,000 new customers in Spain and Portugal. In addition, 1,500 clients have migrated to cloud solutions, and Sage Active has been launched, a pure cloud solution. The company has also strengthened its partners and ISVs ecosystem, incorporating 16 new partners and 19 new ISVs to add value to its solutions. The acquisition of Force Manager has reinforced the Sage technology portfolio.
Following this point, the strategy for next year will focus on five axes: leadership in technology, customer retention, growth through partners, defense of competitive positioning and evolution towards cloud solutions. “The Net Promoter Score (NPS) has grown 13% year after year, indicating greater customer satisfaction with our solutions and services,” says Martín Zabala.

- Technological growth and adaptation strategy. Despite the dissemination of the advantages of electronic regulation and anti -brain systems, customers remain reluctant to adopt them until it is mandatory. To address this reluctance, Sage is making educational efforts to promote the adoption of electronic billing, with events and webinars scheduled in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
