The Spanish technological sector adds a new corporate movement of great draft. The European multinational SCC, specialized in IT solutions and services, has announced the acquisition of Omega Peripherals, technology consultant with more than three decades of experience in the national market. The operation not only involves the integration of two companies with a deep knowledge of the sector, but also marks a turning point in the positioning of SCC in Spain.
Omega Peripherals, based in Barcelona and offices in Madrid, Bilbao, Pamplona and Valladolid, celebrates its 32nd anniversary in 2025. For its part, SCC commemorates the 50th anniversary of the British Group Rigby, to which it belongs, thus reinforcing the symbolic relevance of this union. The sum of capacities will expand the offer of cybersecurity solutions, cloud, infrastructure and digital transformation, areas where both companies have developed outstanding projects.
A strategic integration at a key moment
The management of both companies stressed that this business movement transcends the merely corporate and seeks to generate long -term sustainable value. Arturo Moncada, CEO of SCC in Spain, emphasizes that “it is a pleasure to welcome the Omega Peripherals team. We are convinced that together we start a long way to accompany our clients, both from the public and private sector, in the exciting task of applying technology to their businesses.”
With the purchase of Omega Peripherals, SCC increases its offer and reinforces its positioning in the Spanish market for solutions and services
For his part, Albert Casadejust, CEO of Omega Peripheals, remarks that “we must feel very proud of the achievements that both companies have achieved in all these years, and face this new stage with enthusiasm and the ambition to become one of the most important partners of the IT sector in Spain.”
Impact on the national market
The new organization will add about 400 professionals in Spain, which are integrated into a European workforce of more than 7,000 employees. This human reinforcement, together with strategic alliances with the main technological manufacturers, positions the resulting company as a reference actor in the Spanish IT ecosystem.
The operation also comes in a context of sustained growth. SCC closed its last fiscal year with an increase of 12.5% in billing until reaching 125 million euros. Omega Peripherals, on the other hand, recorded a turnover of 61.6 million euros in 2024, strengthening its role in critical areas such as advanced data centers, security and networking.
Technology with social commitment
Beyond the financial results, the Union also reinforces corporate social responsibility policies, with a clear focus on sustainability and good environmental practices. The common objective is to consolidate a value proposition that combines technological innovation, close to the client and a strong ethical commitment.
