The digital transformation of cities is not just a matter of efficiency or sustainability. It is also, more and more, a need for public safety. In this context, Securitas Security Spain and Alphanet Solutions have sealed a strategic agreement with a clear objective: to display state -of -the -art technologies that improve citizen protection and optimize police resources in medium -sized urban environments.

The alliance materializes around a Smart City approach, where artificial intelligence, IoT sensors and advanced analytics allow not only reacting to incidents, but also anticipate them. The collaboration has already begun to shape concrete projects in which prevention and coordination become key pillars.

In the nucleus of this collaboration is Alphadatamanager, the platform developed by Alphanet, capable of integrating multiple data sources, generating real -time alerts and facilitating cooperation between police bodies. A tool that has already been consolidated as a reference in the field of “police cloud”, and that will be used in the new joint projects.

“The concept of Smart City allows to integrate different citizen security and protection systems, but its true value appears when combined with constant monitoring that releases resources and expedite local intervention,” explains Germán Ibáñez, director of Innovation of Securitas Security Spain.

From Alphanet, his CEO, Francesc Minguillon, underlines the transformative impact of this alliance: “Technology is changing the rules of the game and provides unique opportunities for police forces, which can now act proactively. This collaboration has a huge multiplier power.”

Remote surveillance and operational reinforcement

Securitas contributes to this agreement the infrastructure of its securitas Operation Center (SOC), the largest private security control center in the country. From this operational nucleus, the signals and alerts issued by the devices connected in the municipalities are managed, which allows to free local agents of routine tasks and focus them on critical interventions.

The SOC can also function as a support center for those municipalities that do not have 24/7 surveillance, ensuring constant and coordinated coverage. In 2024, the center managed more than 6.4 million signals, a figure that reflects the operational dimension of the model.

An extra layer against environmental emergencies

Beyond urban safety, Securitas has incorporated into this collaborative framework its early forest fire detection system, based on IoT and Machine Learning sensors. A solution designed to protect both citizens and the natural environment, with the ability to detect fires in their initial phases and activate immediate responses.

ALPHADATAMANAGER: The engine of police synergies

The Alphanet platform already generates more than 100,000 annual alerts, many of them linked to critical situations or potential risks. Thanks to its integration with other systems and the alliance with Appolotraffik, its coverage already reaches a good part of the Spanish territory. Among its key functionalities, the possibility of activating proactive notices, which allow to locate and identify suspicious elements, as a vehicle involved in a crime, even circulate through different municipalities.

At a time when municipalities claim efficient solutions without multiplying costs, this alliance marks a decisive step towards connected, preventive and collaborative security models, adapted to the real capacities of the middle municipalities.
