Epson has announced the launch of the Southolor S8100, a new 64-inch printer that adds to its range of last generation eco-solvent printing solutions. With this incorporation, the brand completes a family composed of the SC-7100, SC-S8100 and SC-S9100 models, designed to meet the growing demands of the graphic sector and professional labeling.
The SC-S8100 stands out for incorporating six colors (CMYK more cyan and light magenta) through ultrachrome GS3 inks, which allows obtaining results of great chromatic precision and uniformity. With a more compact design and a new Microtfp Precoccore print head, this model improves productivity by up to 30% compared to its predecessor, the popular SC-S60600, without compromising quality.

SC-S8100: Large format printers
Among its main novelties is an automatic injector verification system that maintains constant quality during long runs, a hot ink change function to avoid interruptions, and compatibility with Epson Cloud Solution Port, the cloud platform that allows monitoring the state and the performance of the equipment in real time.

The new SC-S8100 also offers more intuitive management, thanks to a tactile panel of 4.3 inches, and is designed to facilitate visual access to the interior of the machine from any angle, which improves its usability in demanding production environments. In addition, it allows the use of inks in formats of 800 or 1500 ml, adapting to the operational needs of each client.
With this launch, Epson reinforces its position in the large format printing market, betting on increasingly versatile, fast and sustainable solutions for the professional field.
