At a time when organizations deal with unprecedented growth of data volume, Synology responds to the challenge with the launch of their new NAS system, the DSKSTATION DS1825+. Far from being a simple evolution, this model is presented as a compact but robust solution, designed to meet the current and future demands in storage, collaboration and protection of information.

With the focus on scalability, connectivity and reliability, the new DS1825+ reinforces Synology’s professional catalog. Among its main assets, an architecture capable of reaching up to 2,239 Mb/s of sequential reading with SSD and flexibility that allows to grow up to 360 TB of gross capacity, through external expansion units.

“The DS1825+ offers a powerful basis for data management and collaboration,” says Marcos de Santiago, Business Unit Director South Europe in Synology. “With changing data management needs, it is designed to offer performance, scalability and business level reliability.”

The team is prepared with dThe 2.5GBE ports that ensure solid factory connectivity, as well as M.2 slots that allow you to configure completely flash storage or use them as cache to improve access speed. To this is added a PCIE 3.0 slot, which enables the use of 10 or 25 GBE network adapter cards, oriented to high performance environments such as virtualization or large multimedia files transfers.

Growth under control

One of the great bets of DS1825+ is its scalable design, which allows you to add up to two additional DX525 units. In this way, the system grows with the needs of the company, eliminating the need to replace the medium -term hardware. Disc compatibility has been another of the key spotlights, with more than 7,000 hours of tests to guarantee system stability and compliance with the Synology ecosystem.

In addition, the unit is managed by diskstation manager (DSM), the company’s own operating system, which enables functions such as private cloud using Synology Drive, comprehensive protection with Active Backup Suite or intelligent video management through Surveillance Station.

Available on channel

The DS1825+ is already on sale since July 8 through the official Synology distributors and partners channel.
