Telefónica has launched its observability service with AI, a proposal designed to help companies know in real time the status of their network and how it affects their processes, being able to anticipate possible incidents and improving decision-making based on data.
Telefónica’s new initiative aimed at large companies, mid market and public administrations incorporates AI capabilities to unify in a single tool the monitoring, analysis and correlation of events that occur in the corporate network, being able to predict their impact on the business.
Eduardo Ariste, general director of Companies and Administrations of Telefónica Spain, points out: “With this approach we offer a better service to the companies that work with us so that they can go from reactive to proactive management and aligned with their commercial objectives, reaffirming ourselves as the best way for companies to access digital technologies. For us, observability will not only provide technical visibility, but will help companies understand how systems behave and how that behavior impacts the customer experience and business continuity. business.”
Telefónica frames this proposal, which until now it has offered within the Titan Connect advanced connectivity solutions package, as an evolution towards intelligent observability, which integrates architecture, implementation, operation and continuous evolution. Thus, the company’s approach combines instrumentation, context and automation to unify signals, correlate data and turn observability into a strategic capability.
More visibility and shorter resolution time
Thanks to this communications solution, organizations can optimize network use, instantly viewing the global status of the infrastructure through a customizable and easy-to-manage dashboard.
This dashboard is designed as an operational management tool for IT teams, with a global view of the network, LAN and WAN performance, Wi-Fi observability, correlated events and alarms, as well as an executive dashboard.
In addition, the system allows reducing the time in which incidents are resolved by being able to more quickly identify the cause of the problems, also anticipating possible failures through intelligent alerts and predictive analysis. This improves operational resilience and provides context for more agile and informed decision making.
The new service is especially indicated for organizations with complex environments and a high digital dependence, such as banking, the retail sector, logistics, companies with contact centers or e-commerce, where any eventuality on the network, no matter how brief, for example, on Black Friday, can directly affect sales and require an immediate response.

Telefónica offers this new service in two modalities. The essential mode allows customizing the solution based on the client’s operations and their events, alarm generation and detection of main problems with AI. The premium modality, which will be available starting in December, incorporates all the functionalities offered by Esencia, along with customizable control panels and reports, planning capacity, OpenTelemetry – an open source framework to standardize the collection and management of telemetric data in various software environments -, an API to consult data, and another (ITSM) that integrates generation of alarms and automatic tickets in the event of potential incidents.
With this initiative and offering increasingly more and better services, Telefónica reinforces its value proposition for companies and administrations that seek a unified vision of their digital infrastructure and a more predictive, efficient and resilient operation.
