The surveillance of internal communications in companies has entered into a new stage. ProofPoint has presented the first intelligence solution for the supervision of human communications (HCI) based on agricultural, an advance that promises to change the way organizations detect and prevent risks of behavior, compliance and real -time safety.
The launch comes in a context in which collaboration channels such as Slack, Teams or Zoom have become one of the main concerns of security responsible. A study at 1,600 fissions around the world reveals that more than a third considers them the largest source of risk, even above the cloud, perimeter devices or generative chatbots themselves.
From passive capture to active reasoning
Until now, companies depended on connectors and files that stored messages but lacked intelligence to interpret the intention behind the conversations. With the incorporation of Nulei technology, recently acquired by Proofpoint, the company claims to have taken a decisive step towards digital communications governance capable of reasoning and acting in real time.
“Traditional connectors are mere proxies that transmit content down without contributing just intelligence,” explains Harry Labana, senior vice president and general director of the DCG business of Proofpoint. “We have gone from the simple compilation of messages to interpretation and reasoning in real time, transforming human conversations into processable intelligence.”

Explicable Intelligence and Reduction of False Positive
The new DCG portfolio of ProofPoint introduces agents capable of analyzing communications in more than 80 channels, from email to social networks, voice, mobile messaging and generative chatbots. Unlike pretended models, these agents justify their decisions, offering transparency to compliance and legal equipment.
In addition, the supervision solution promises a reduction of up to 90% of the “noise” of irrelevant communications thanks to the contextual detection that includes tone, intention, emojis and even code fragments. This allows manual review to be significantly reduced and optimized risk management in organizations with high volumes of interactions.
Real -time risk prevention
One of the most prominent advances is the integration with Insider Threat Management (ITM), which connects what employees say with what they do on their devices. This approach generates a real -time feedback loop that allows you to anticipate infractions, litigation or risk behaviors before they climb.
Proofpoint’s intelligence agents are already available, while new improvements, including a generation of language models designed for ProofPoint Supervision, will reach the end of 2025. Integration with ITM is expected for the first quarter of 2026.
