The association starts 2026 consolidating its growth with an eye on the ASLAN2026 Congress&EXPO and an ambitious Activities Plan that will focus on the challenges imposed by the current technological and geopolitical context.

The @aslan Association has started 2026 in one of its best moments by reaching a historical maximum of 205 associated companies, which consolidates its role as the main meeting point of the technological and digital ecosystem in Spain.

This milestone was announced during the Ordinary General Assembly held on January 29 in Madrid, in which the new members of the Board of Directors were also elected, thus reinforcing the leadership of the association to face the challenges of the new year.

The growth to 205 associated companies – representing IT manufacturers, operators, data centers, integrators, large distributors and cloud service providers – adds to an ecosystem of more than 100,000 professionals linked to the association’s activities. During the past year, @aslan carried out more than 60 initiatives, in which more than 15,000 professionals participated, confirming the organization’s role as a benchmark in the sector.

Renewal of the Board of Directors

During the assembly, Alberto Pascual, Félix de la Fuente and Luis González, who have already spent two years at the head of the Presidency, Vice-Presidency and Treasury, respectively, renewed their positions at the head of the @aslan Association. On the other hand, after the vote of the directors present, the General Assembly agreed to the appointment of Antonio Rodríguez (Kyndryl) and Antonio Montero (Econocom Group) to cover the two available seats on the Board of Directors, consolidating a team representative of the main players in the technology sector.

The Board of Directors is made up of:

  • President: Mr. Alberto Pascual of Ingram Micro
  • Vice President: Mr. Félix de la Fuente de Templus
  • Treasurer: Mr. Luis González of Allied Telesis
  • Secretary General: Mr. Francisco Verderas

With this historical maximum number of associates and a renewed Board of Directors, the @aslan Association faces 2026 with the objective of continuing to promote digital transformation, supporting public and private initiatives and reinforcing the competitiveness of the technology sector in Spain.

Plan of activities scheduled for 2026

During the Assembly, the 2026 Activities Plan was presented, an ambitious program that includes more than 25 initiatives and will focus on the new challenges derived from the current technological and geopolitical context, such as cyber resilience, digital sovereignty or adaptation to the NIS2, as well as the profound impact that artificial intelligence is generating on digital assets: data centers, workplaces and cybersecurity, among others.

The main focus of the year will be the 33rd edition of the ASLAN2026 Congress&EXPO. Under the title «AI agents, resilience, digital assets,…? We Evolucionar”, the annual event for digital innovation and cybersecurity professionals will take place on March 17, 18 and 19 at the IFEMA Conference Center (Madrid).

Among the new features for this year, the @aslan Awards for Executives with Technological DNA stand out: awards that will recognize the contribution of CXOs, beyond the CIO, to the digitalization of companies to improve productivity, sustainability and competitiveness.
