Uber One – is it worth using this service? Check if the Uber Eats subscription really pays off, what “free deliveries” are about and how to cancel the subscription quickly before it charges your account.
What is Uber One?
In “food” applications, subscriptions appear more and more often with which some benefits are associated. Uber does not want to be left behind, so some time ago Uber One – a package for those who regularly order via Uber Eats appeared in their offer. In theory it sounds great: free deliveries, lower fees, promotions only for subscribers. It is known, however, that every promise of something “for free” has to balance himself somewhere.
Uber One debuted in Poland in November 2023 and offers a lot – if you meet specific conditions. The subscription costs PLN 12.99 per month or PLN 129.99 per year. In return, you can count on:
- PLN 0 for delivery from the restaurant when ordering over PLN 50.
- PLN 0 for delivery from grocery stores When shopping from PLN 70.
- Discounts up to 50% on the so -called service fee.
- Cashback up to 15% In the form of Uber Credits for journeys.
- Access to the best -rated drivers (if they are available).
- Special promotions only for subscribers.
If you order regularly and cross the thresholds, it sounds like pure profit. However, if your orders are rather burger and fries for PLN 35 – it is worth thinking about buying a subscription twice.
Uber One: How much does it cost and when does it pay?
The monthly fee of PLN 12.99 is – for Polish conditions – a really decent price. If you order eating at least twice a month for more than PLN 50, Uber one should pay back at the second order.
Thresholds that somewhat spoil the fun
Unfortunately, this is not an ideal subscription. The key are here minimum thresholds:
- PLN 50 for orders from restaurants,
- PLN 70 for grocery shopping.
If you only feel like a homemade dinner for PLN 40, then … either you add something else to order or give up free delivery.
How to cancel uberr one and not pay for the next month
Not everyone will be satisfied with Uber One, so the question immediately arises – how to give it up? One information is key here. Remember to cancel the subscription at least 48 hours before the renewal date. If you don’t do this, Uber will ask for another payment and the money will disappear from the account. It is not a shocking amount, but if you do not plan to order food in a given month, it is always some saving.
Cancellation in the application:
- Open Uber Eats
- Click “Account”
- Go to “Uber one”
- Click “Manage membership” (“Manage membership”)
- Choose “Finish membership” (“End membership”)
- Confirm by clicking “Continue” → “End Uber One”

It is worth remembering that even if you give up subscription, access to benefits will still be active until the end of a given billing cycle. If there were any complications, you can report unauthorized loads through help.uber.com.
Protip: Set a reminder on the phone 2-3 days before the end of the free month. Uber is unlikely to remind you that in a moment they will collect money from your account again.
When is it worth paying for Uber One?
Uber one makes sense if:
- You order 2-3 times a month for over PLN 50,
- You also use Uber journeys, which you can use cashback in the form of Uber One Credits,
- You want to have access to special offers.
It is not worth it when:
- You order from time to time,
- Your orders do not exceed PLN 30-40,
- You don’t have a head to watch the cancellation date.
Uber One is an option for those who real and regularly They use Uber Eats – and they can calculate if it really pays off. However, I still think that PLN 12.99 is not the worst price for such a service.
