Qlik has announced the launch of Qlik Analytics Migration Toolan automated solution based on Qloud Cover migration technology, developed by Stretch Qonnect. This acquisition reinforces the company’s strategy to boost its clients to Qlik Cloud, eliminating one of the main obstacles: the complexity of migration from environments such as qlikView, Qlik Sense or Nprinting.

Although migration to the cloud is seen as a way to gain agility, take advantage of artificial intelligence capabilities and accelerate innovation, the technical process continues to assume an important brake. The new tool seeks to solve this barrier by providing total automation and flexible migration routes, either by self -service or with the support of certified partners.

“Many organizations want to modernize, but they are stagnated by the complexity and risk of migration,” said Roberto Sigona, Qlik’s operations director. “We are not only facilitating the road to the cloud: we are making it practical, responsible and immediate.”

Automation, control and continuity

The Qlik Analytics Migration Tool allows planning projects more quickly thanks to automatic metadata extraction and the creation of structures adapted to Qlik Cloud. It is also responsible for converting objects, data connections and personalized logic without errors, which reduces migration effort and minimizes interruptions.

Among its key benefits include the conservation of the original Dashboards design, support and validation functions, as well as support for partial or complete migrations according to customer needs.

Proven on the ground, ready to climb

The tool has already been used successfully by customers such as the pharmacist Lundbeck. “We were able to modernize thousands of analytical assets in global teams maintaining continuity and control,” explained Stine Thomasen, senior manager of Business Intelligence in the company. “It has allowed to deliver faster information, improve alignment and establish a more solid basis for innovation in data use.”

Martin Sahlin, CEO and founder of Stretch Qonnect, added: “We design this solution to solve a problem that we saw repeatedly in the industry: migrations that have been too expensive, were too expensive or paralyzed completely.”

Availability

As part of the effort to encourage the adoption of Qlik Cloud, the company will also offer a free test environment for its customers, available without cost until the next renewal. This space allows you to test the new tool, execute concept tests and explore the complete QLIK cloud capabilities.
