Thule is looking for customers among young parents and promises high safety of its new car seats.

Thule is a brand known mainly for quality backpacks, bags, covers and other accessories necessary to safely transport items, but did you know that the Swedish company started with fish traps? Now Thule is undergoing another metamorphosis, although the brand DNA remains unchanged. Thule makes its debut in the child car seat segment, drawing inspiration from existing products.

Thule launches seats for special tasks

Over the years, Thule has managed to gain the respect of mountain hikers, cyclists and travelers, and now it smiles at young parents. The company wants to “accompany customers from their first adventures and ensure safety at every stage of life”, and this idea is to be expressed in a completely new line of products intended for the safe transport of children.

These have been – as the manufacturer assures – tested in the modern Thule Test Center and guarantee safety at a level higher than required by industry standards. Everything should start at the level of installing the seat in the car, because, as Thule research shows, half of the seats are installed incorrectly by parents. Therefore, the Swedish brand created Thule Alfi, an assembly base designed to simplify this process as much as possible.

Two seats are compatible with the base – for younger and older children. Both use the Thule Impact Protection system, which protects passengers from impacts from the sides, front and rear, providing complete head protection.

Thule boasts that installing such a seat in a car is a matter of two steps – placing it on the base at any angle from the side of the car door, and then turning it to the target position.

The Thule Maple seat – the one in the photo above – has an additional advantage in the form of a canopy made of fabric with a UPF50+ sun protection index, so it can also function as an outdoor carrier.

All mentioned accessories debut on the Polish market tomorrow, November 14.
