When new electronics appear on the market, a race begins to see who can launch Doom on it the fastest. The Nintendo alarm clock has already succeeded.

Playing Doom on all possible devices has become something of a tradition. If an electronic device appears, there is a good chance that sooner or later we will see someone trying to run Doom on it.

A few days ago, Nintendo introduced its new product: the Alarmo alarm clock. And as you could expect, there were also attempts to launch Doom.

It didn’t take long for these attempts to be successful. And a few days ago, GaryOberNicht boasted that he managed to bypass Alarmo security and… upload whatever software he wanted there. As you might expect, one of the first options was to load Doom there. You can see how this section works in practice in the material below:

According to GaryOberNicht, to put the shareware version of Doom into the alarm clock – you don’t even need to make any major modifications to Alarmo. He posted the full instructions on his Github if you would like to try it.

Will anyone play Doom on Nintendo alarm clocks? I doubt it. But it is certain that if someone wanted to, they could do it. And that’s what this game is about.
