Before purchasing, it is worth looking not only at the price, but also at compatibility with a phone or computer, the costs of additional accessories, and to verify whether the equipment matches the child’s age and interests.
Bluetooth speakers
A portable Bluetooth speaker is one of the most universal gifts in the “electronics” category. With a budget of up to PLN 1,000, you can go beyond the smallest models and look at slightly higher-end equipment.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is a portable speaker that usually appears in offers at the limit of the budget assumed here. This is a proposition for people who care about a compact design, longer operating time and a more outdoor character.
Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 it’s a completely different type of speaker. It’s bigger, more homey and less outdoorsy. You can find it for less than PLN 1,000, although the price often depends on the promotion and color. It has a power of 50 W and a declared operating time of up to 8 hours, but it is not a waterproof model. It fits better in a room, living room or house than on the beach or camping.
Sony ULT Field 5 is also within the limit of PLN 1,000. This is a larger portable speaker with IP67 resistance, a declared operating time of up to 25 hours, fast charging and functions related to stronger bass. It may be an option for an older child or teenager who is looking for equipment that is more portable than Onyx Studio 8, but larger than a typical miniature Bluetooth speaker.
Headphones: in-ear and on-ear
You can also look for advanced wireless headphones in a budget of up to PLN 1,000. The two suggestions below are classics of the genre – something for a teenager with an iPhone and something for a fan of proven over-ear designs.

The model is available in offers below PLN 1,000, although it is worth remembering that a newer WH-1000XM6 variant has already appeared on the market. For a child or teenager, the WH-1000XM5 can be the perfect device for music, movies, studying and traveling.
Xiaomi Smart L1 or Xblitz X-Lumen projector
A projector can be a gift for a child’s room, but in this category you need to have realistic expectations. Models up to PLN 1,000 will not replace a good TV, but they can be perfect for watching movies, cartoons, YouTube in the evening or playing games on a larger screen.

An e-book reader is not a tablet, and that is where its potential lies. It’s not for gaming, TikTok or YouTube. It has an e-ink screen, backlight and long battery life. It will be a good break from the information noise provided by smartphones.
