CES 2026 was an opportunity to present many new products related to the PC market.

MSI played an important role there, presenting an ecosystem of devices that combine unprecedented computing power with an innovative approach to security and design. From the return of the legendary Lightning series of graphics cards, through monitors analyzing images in real time, to laptops setting new standards in mobility – each new product seems to say that the future is happening before our eyes.

The power hidden in silicon

One of the most electrifying announcements was the return of the legendary GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING graphics card after a seven-year break. This is an engineering work created with the intention of breaking records, which has already been confirmed by performance tests achieving sky-high results in benchmarks such as 3DMark Time Spy. This card is distinguished not only by hybrid liquid cooling, but also by the world’s first 8-inch display panel that allows for full customization of system statistics.

To provide a solid foundation for such powerful systems, MSI has unveiled AMD motherboards equipped with OC Engine for fine-tuning performance. MSI’s latest B850 MAX line includes three standout models: the versatile MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI II, the powerful micro-ATX MAG B850M MORTAR MAX WIFI, and the newly introduced all-white MAG B850 GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI. Each board offers a refreshed design, expanded connectivity and greater flexibility. A solid power system combined with the OC Engine ensures stable, long-lasting performance. An improved 64MB BIOS ROM enhances processor compatibility, while integrated Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LAN ensure ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity in both wired and wireless modes.

Intelligence that looks at the world

The new era of MSI monitors is primarily the integration of artificial intelligence directly in the image display device. The flagship MEG X model redefines gameplay support thanks to the AI Gaming Intelligence system, which analyzes the image without burdening the computer’s resources, offering functions such as AI Tracker and AI Vision+. Users who value perfect image quality will pay attention to the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36, which uses a fifth generation panel with an RGB Stripe subpixel system. This innovation almost completely eliminates the effect of color blur and drastically improves text readability, which has previously been a challenge for OLED matrices. Additionally, OLED Care 3.0 technology with an AI sensor ensures the life of the matrix by initiating pixel refreshing when it detects that the user has moved away from the screen.

The foundation for safe performance

In times of increasing energy demand, MSI has introduced GPU Safeguard+ technology, which is the heart of the new MPG Ai1600TS PCIE5 power supplies. This system monitors the condition of power connectors in real time and immediately alerts the user to any irregularities, which helps avoid permanent damage to expensive equipment. Equally impressive is the flagship SPATIUM M571 DLP SSD drive, which achieves dizzying read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s on the PCIe Gen5 interface. Importantly for professionals, this drive has technology to protect data against loss in the event of a sudden power outage. The efficient set is complemented by the MEG MAESTRO 900R panoramic housing, designed to effectively display the most advanced configurations from every side.

Mobility without compromise

The laptops presented at CES 2026 are proof that enormous power can go hand in hand with lightness. A completely redesigned Prestige series, headed by the Prestige 13 AI+ model, which weighs only 899 grams while offering over 30 hours of battery life when playing video. A beast has been prepared for gamers in the form of the Raider 16 Max HX model, which is the first in the world to deliver as much as 300 W of total system power, allowing the RTX 5090 graphics card to work at full capacity. It is also worth mentioning the MSI Stealth 16 AI+, which, with a thickness of only 16.6 mm, combines a professional aluminum design with powerful components ideal for both creative work and demanding games.

So it seems that despite the specific crisis on the PC market caused by the huge demand for components from companies building data centers, this year is not doomed to losses at all.
