More and more organizations are looking to bring video collaboration to all their meeting spaces, but smaller rooms continue to be a challenge due to the cost and complexity of equipping them with technology. This means that many of them do not yet have the necessary technology to carry out effective hybrid meetings. To respond to this situation, Jabra presents its new PanaCast U30 video bar, a solution for BYOD (bring your own device) environments that offers security, professional quality and an optimized experience in small spaces.
Specially designed for rooms with a maximum capacity of 6 people, the Jabra PanaCast U30 combines intelligent video, professional audio and simplified installation in a compact format, presenting itself as an effective, accessible and easy-to-deploy solution with which companies can equip their smaller rooms.
“Small meeting rooms are the setting chosen by organizations to hold some of their most important conversations,” explains Camille Petit, Sales Manager for Iberia at Jabra. “As hybrid work is consolidated, it is increasingly relevant to have the ability to provide technology to these spaces without complicating their use or management. With PanaCast U30, we wanted to offer an easy-to-install solution that allows companies to expand their video collaboration spaces with a professional experience in both video and audio.”
Designed for a simple BYOD experience
The Jabra PanaCast U30 video bar is designed so that any user can enter the room, connect their device with a single USB-C cable and start the meeting on the platform of their choice, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
Even before connecting, the system guides the professional step by step with clear instructions on the room screen, allowing meetings to start without delays or the need for technical support. Additionally, in future updates, users will be able to create and upload their own custom wallpapers to the home screen through Jabra Plus.
The video performance of the Jabra PanaCast U30 is optimized for small spaces thanks to a 120° field of view that allows all participants to be framed, even in rooms with compact layouts.
The new Jabra video bar features advanced video modes, such as Intelligent Zoom, Virtual Director and Dynamic Composition, which automatically adjust the image based on what is happening in the room, following the conversation and keeping interlocutors correctly framed at all times.
Added to this is an integrated audio system with a speaker and six microphones that offers full duplex sound and coverage of the entire room, so that conversations develop naturally and all voices are perceived clearly, both in the office and remotely.
An agile and simple implementation
To deploy video collaboration systems in multiple small rooms, organizations need solutions that are quick to install and easy to maintain. Jabra PanaCast U30 provides different mounting options – wall, VESA mount or tabletop – to adapt to spaces with different configurations without complicating installation.
Through Jabra Plus, IT teams can monitor device status
The packaging design allows key components to be accessed and configured without removing the device, while the cable management and indications integrated into the equipment itself facilitate a clean and repeatable installation in different rooms.
Once installed, device management is also simplified. Through Jabra Plus, IT teams can monitor device status, deploy updates, and manage multiple rooms from a single interface. In addition, Jabra PanaCast U30 can be managed both via network and USB connection and allows local updates in environments where greater control is required.
