The technology company Nunsys Group has inaugurated this morning its new Data Processing Center (CPD) integrated into Nunsys Cloud, a strategic infrastructure that reinforces the company’s ability to respond to the growing demand for cloud services, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and business continuity by public and private organizations.
The event included the participation of Marián Cano, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce of the Generalitat; Juan Antonio Sagredo, mayor of Paterna; and Paula Llobet, Councilor for Tourism, Innovation and Investment Attraction of the Valencia City Council, who have accompanied the management body of Nunsys Group, led by its president Paco Gavilán, in the launch of facilities designed to become one of the main technological nodes of the Mediterranean arc.
During his speech, Gavilán highlighted that “this inauguration not only represents the opening of a new infrastructure: it is a commitment to the digital future of our country and the ability of companies and institutions to innovate with guarantees.”
The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce, Marián Cano, has highlighted that these types of initiatives “demonstrate the capacity of the Community to attract strategic projects that provide added value to the Valencian economy”, and has highlighted that the region “is prepared to continue growing hand in hand with companies that are committed to talent and innovation”.
As councilor of the town that houses the technology park where Nunsys Cloud is located, the mayor of Paterna Juan Antonio Sagredo has praised the commitment of Nunsys Group “since it confirms that our city and our Technology Park continue to consolidate themselves as one of the great technological and business references in Spain, capable of attracting strategic investments, promoting innovation and generating highly qualified employment.”
For her part, Valencia City Councilor Paula Llobet has pointed out that the city and its area of influence “continue to consolidate as a pole of attraction for technological projects and advanced digital infrastructures, reinforcing our competitiveness and generating new opportunities for economic development based on innovation.”
Along with institutional spokespersons, the event has brought together numerous technology manufacturers who wanted to join as collaborators in this launch of Nunsys Cloud: Cohesity, CommScope, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, HPE, Lenovo, Netskope, Paessler, Parallels, RUCKUS Networks, Veeam Software and VMware by Broadcom with the help of its distributor Arrow ECS.
Key data of the renewed Nunsys Cloud
After a thorough renovation process that lasted 7 months, the new CPD represents a decisive step in Nunsys Cloud’s growth strategy and significantly expands its operational capacity with 450m² of total surface area, 150 racks and the capacity to host up to 5,000 servers.
The data center also has Tier III certification and compliance with the National Security Scheme (ENS) in the High category, guaranteeing the highest standards of availability, resilience and protection of information.
The new CPD represents a decisive step in Nunsys Cloud’s growth strategy
The launch of the new CPD has required an initial investment of 10 million euros, to which will be added a plan for additional economic injections over the next five years. This roadmap will allow expanding
services, increase technological capacity and consolidate Nunsys Cloud’s position as a provider of proximity digital infrastructures for organizations that require high levels of performance, security and data sovereignty.
Currently, the Nunsys Cloud data center serves 1,500 clients and has an annual turnover of close to 3 million euros. With this inauguration, Nunsys Group reinforces its strategy to become one of the main proximity technology operators in Spain, hoping to double its customer base and increase its business volume to 10 million by the end of the next five years.
In this way, the Nunsys company wants to respond to the new needs of companies and institutions in a context marked by the accelerated adoption of AI and critical digital services.
